About Us

The team of Casa Perfecta Inc. bring 25 years of interior design experience. Serving clients throughout the GTA. We work alongside our clients, creating the perfect space to accommodate their individual style. Ensuring that we meet every client's needs both functionally and aesthetically. The company was founded by Karen Birer in 2005 and has grown over the years through many happy client referrals. Prior to starting Casa Perfecta, Karen was a Fashion Buyer for 14 years and always loved the world of design. She decided that she wanted to pursue her love for Interior Design and hence Casa Perfecta was born. Amy Sheridan is a graduate of the Interior Design program at Ryerson University and had been working independently in residential design and project management. She took a break to raise a family but maintained her love of design and joined forces with Karen at Casa Perfecta.

Amy and Karen renovated our main floor as well as our staircase and second floor including the kids washroom. With their design ideas, they created an amazing transformation. It feels like an entirely new home. They went above and beyond our expectations. What an awesome team of people including their contractor who made it all possible. Karen has worked with me over numerous projects in my house over the last few years. In the last few months, we gutted my laundry and she did an exceptional job in restructuring the space and providing me with even more storage space than I required. Her ability to use space effectively is unbelievable. We now just completed a refacing of my kitchen with a bit of restructuring and I feel like I got a new kitchen on a tight budget. She is professional, approachable, kind and listens to her clients needs.

We did a renovation of our entire main floor which was previously very poorly designed. Karen helped us to completely reconfigure the main floor and we love the results. She helped us to maximise the space and our kitchen is now double the size and more functional than before.. Karen also helped us choose fixtures, tiles, lighting, paint, window treatments, flooring and all new furnishings including rugs and artwork. Karen is very easy to work with - she is always calm and patient. We are in fact currently working with Karen on a new project - master bedroom and washroom.

I hired Karen a number of years ago to help me decorate my children's bedrooms. Her creativity and vision surpassed our expectations and we were thrilled with her work. After that project, we hired Karen to re-design our kitchen and following that, our master bathroom. Karen is so easy to work with and takes her client relationships very seriously. She goes above and beyond to ensure that everyone involved in the project is happy. Her eye for detail and precision is amazing and we are thrilled with each outcome. I have recently started working with Amy and she is also a wonderful partner to work with. She is organized, and also has great creativity and vision. I look forward to beginning another project with both of them in the upcoming months.
