I have hired Mark for 4 large projects, kitchen remodel, family room remodel, outdoor pavilion construction and finishing a mountain home for occupancy when previous contractor was a disaster. The first 3 projects were well planned, came in on budget and time, plus the work quality was excellent. The last was an emergency and Mark came through, saving a $6 million home by taking over, identifying major issues, redoing and repairing. This involved removing large windows that had not been flashed, identifying many leak sources and getting it done before a major winter. I have confidence in Marks experience, skills and ability to jump forward in an emergency. The home is a very high end home, our life dream house. I would hire Mark in a heartbeat for any size project.

Mark2 Construction did a complete remodel of our home about four years ago, including the addition of two new rooms. The job was done on time and within budget. Mark was very pleasant to work with, had excellent suggestions about issues that came up, and was very proffessional in all aspects of the job.

Mark Varnum is the CONSUMMATE professional. He is a man of his word. When he says the job will be done in 3 months, it will be done in 3 months. He is honest, and very fair in his pricing. The work he does is perfection and he hires only the best subs out there. He also insists that they keep the job site clean which was very important to us. Mark has a tremendous amount of knowledge in the business, and he can visualize the best solution to any construction dilemma. He is straight forward and never minces words which I find totally refreshing. No BS just to schmooze a client and no hidden charges. Mark also makes the entire construction experience as stress-free as it can possibly get. Things are done logically and he handles every minute detail. The result is a beautifully remodeled space with attention to both aesthetics AND function. I would HIGHLY recommend Mark Varnum as a general contractor. He is the best in the business in my book!

Mark2 Construction made sure my kitchen project was completed on time and the finished product exceeded my expectations. Mark is excellent with proportions. I am the only person I know that had a kitchen remodel that did not drag on. We did change our mind along with way and Mark was flexible; however, the thing I appreciated the most was when Mark told me, "no, you do not want to do that." I appreciated him letting me know which were quality appliances and fixtures to use and which were not. I have done a few remodeling projects in my home and will use Mark2 Construction for all future ones.
