My family and I recently decided to finish our basement after leaving it unfinished during the initial construction of our home in 2019. We received quotes from almost 10 different companies, but ultimately chose Desborough Construction to complete the job. John, the owner, and his team were an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish. John took the time to fully understand our vision and provided expert advice throughout the process. He was able to customize every aspect of the project to our liking, and the end result exceeded our expectations. His attention to detail and commitment to quality were evident in every aspect of the finished product. Throughout the construction process, John and his team went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. I can't say anything about his work, but John came to our home to quote our remodel project and we never heard from him again. He was to send plans to his design contact at Home Depot, who never received them. I guess he did not want the job.

John and his team are professional, reliable and perfectionist. I love my kitchen and John made sure my kitchen my kitchen was in time to host a party with over 250. Talk about stress but John made sure everything was on schedule and cleaned up every day. I ❤️ my kitchen.

I highly recommend Desborough Construction, Inc. John and his crew recently completed a family room makeover at my house. The attention to detail was wonderful!! I cannot say enough about their expertise and professionalism. John had some wonderful ideas to make my vision a reality. He exceeded my expectations! John is one of the most professional and conscientious contractors I have ever met. He was prompt when he came out to give me an estimate and he was prompt when the work began. My project was having backsplash tile installed in the kitchen. The work was done by Rob, who did a meticulous job even when working with tiles that turned out to be a little thinner than usual. The cleanup after the job was perfect. John is someone who truly wants his customers to be completely satisfied and happy with his work. He is very honest and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for someone to do a kitchen project.

Let me first say that I had called several contractors to ask about getting a quote and none of them even bothered to call me back. John returned my call right away and he told me he was so booked he couldn't accept the job at that time. I called back a few months later and he was able to schedule it pretty quickly. John and his guys did a fabulous job on my house repairs. I had experienced a lot of damage from last year's harsh winter. My living room ceiling needed to be repaired; my walls needed to be repainted; and the ceiling tile in my back room was all stained from water leaks (he completely replaced that with a new drywall ceiling). Before he began his part, John first sub-contracted out the back flat roof job (I had to pay a separate $2,400 for the flat roof repair because it was not covered by insurance) to his associate Nelson who fixed it and did and a fantastic job. Nelson's crew completed the job in a day and did an outstanding job with clean up. You would never have known they were even there. Then John and Nate came in and did all the interior work. It probably took about a week. Every morning, they put plastic on the walls and cleaned up everything by the time I got home from work. I felt comfortable with him and trusted him enough to stay in my home while I was at work. He even let my cats out of their bedroom "lock-up" when he was done for the day. His original estimate for the work came in a bit higher than my insurance check, but he and my agent worked it out so I had to pay $1,000 less. Overall, it was a great experience and I would highly recommend Desborough to anyone.

John has done 2 jobs for me. Summer of 2014 we needed our deck replaced due to waterproofing work, Chubbs Construction recommended John and we were very pleased with the job. Dec 2015, we hired John to replace the French doors to the patio. Again we were very pleased with the work and plan to have John remodel a powder room and bathroom in the spring.
