The Inspiration Nest

The Inspiration Nest has provided us with some great ideas. But, its business and communication practices are terrible. In particular, Leslie has been notorious for consistently failing to deliver on promises that she has set for herself -- even for matters that are completely within her own control.

Leslie is very professional and has a keen design eye. She respects a clients budget and has access to great product sources at very fair pricing. She referred us to a fantastic contracting company that has been the best we have ever used on a large scale project as this was, which we are very grateful for. She has acted as an intermediary with the contractors, electricians, plumbers etc all allowing us as the home owner to not have to spend as much time on this aspect of the cottage renovation. Leslie has made herself available any time there has been the need to reconvene to make decisions at major junction points in the process. She has respected us as home owners that are seasoned renovators that want to be involved and care about the details. She has collaborated with us bringing the project to its best outcome with which we love. Leslie has helped us create our Nest and has inspired us , evolving our cottage to a personal retreat that we love. Thank you Leslie!!!

Collaboration at it's best! From the minute I met with Leslie Appleton, I knew there was magic. She was like an old friend who you could share your wildest dreams with and she would be honest, supportive and most of all on the same page as you. We worked collaboratively on every aspect of renovating my new house. Browns and golds gave way to soft grey and cream with touches of coral. Overseeing an exceptional crew of contractors and suppliers she guided the process with ease, professionalism and an a gracious ability to make changes on the fly. Balancing the ability too determine when to splurge and when to save budget was always top of mind. On reveal day, the end result honestly brought tears to my eyes as she fulfilled my vision for a personal sanctuary. Can't wait for the next project!!!

We hired Leslie to help with a main floor reno and exterior overhaul. Leslie has a great eye! She is able to work with your individual style, yet has the confidence to let you know when something just doesn't work. She is flexible in her approach and level of involvement and truly knows how to make a space look fabulous.

The Inspiration Nest made my house a home! I went through a separation almost a year ago and literally walked away with 2 orange lawn chairs and a small TV. Leslie at The Inspiration Nest has since transformed an empty 3 bedroom house from top to bottom. We had discussed my budget, goals and style however I left all discussions in her hands and am so glad I did. She is so incredibly creative and talented!!!
