We liked Steve Walker and the IRC crew right away when we met them. And then we liked them more and more the longer we worked with them. Friends laughed out loud when I told them Steve had said that we'd be in our new house in 6 months. But 6 months to the day we took possession of our beautiful new home. And he brought it in right on budget. Neither my husband nor I had ever built a house before. All I'd ever heard were people's horror stories of going way over budget and taking much longer than planned to build. But when we saw houses Steve and his IRC crews had built, along with talking with him we knew that this was a well run organization. Everybody we connect with was smart, competent and efficient. Plus being some of the nicest people you'll ever find. We had fun building our home. Because of Steve Walker and his IRC crew building our home was a great experience. He and Lisa guided us well when we had questions and they helped us over and over again to get it right when we wanted something different later in the process. One more thing. I have to mention our experience of the workers because the building process itself mattered to us. The work crews were fabulous. Highly skilled workers with nice dispositions who got the job done, what ever it was. And another thing. They kept the job site clean. The whole area inside and out was immaculate every single evening when they left. Now we've been living in our beautiful new house for about 6 weeks and its better than we ever imagined it would be. Every day we look around and just smile its so beautiful and well built. Are you thinking of building a house in the Beaufort SC area?
