Ashley from Act One Flooring helped me pick out Flooring for my homes interior and exterior areas. She designed all the tile , countertops and cabinet design for all bathrooms , leisure tv rooms, walk in closets and kitchen. She was always professional and patient when I had to change a couple things she was cheerful and creatively worked with me to stay in my budget and on schedule while achieving my vision above my expectations. After purchasing tile from Act1 for a kitchen backsplash I was happy with my purchase so I decided to have them contract the work on the install. This is the point where my good experience with Act1 ended. I live about 25 miles where they are located and asked if this distance would be an issue and I was told it would not be. Once I decided to schedule the work and make a deposit I had to call several times to try and get the work scheduled even though I was assured someone would call me to schedule the job, no one ever did. The weekend before the job was supposed to be completed I still had not received a firm date even after paying my deposit, so once again I called them to find out what was going on. When Brian called me back he said he was waiting on me to respond to his email, of which I never received, because there was a $100 out of town fee. This fee was never mentioned before and was about a 25% increase of my small job. After putting up with enough of their poor customer service I canceled the job and now I am left with an unfinished kitchen just in time for my family to come and visit.

Worked directly with Adam; he helped us explore possible choices for ceramic tile and carpet. He was able to get us everything we wanted. Very pleased with the results.

We hired ACT1 for a master bath remodel and were extremely pleased. The company called when they said they would and their employees and sub-contractors showed up when they said they would. The tile folks did a great job and worked so hard to get the job done in a timely manner. Final cost was right on the estimate. Everyone was polite and helpful! I would recommend ACT 1 to anyone looking to renovate.
