About Us

I love to travel. Yet, home is my favorite place in all the world to be. I believe passionately that our homes should be a reflection of who we are and function well with how we live. At the end of the day, we don't spruce up our homes simply to make it look pretty. We do it because our homes are where we watch our babies take their first steps, where we celebrate birthdays and report cards and anniversaries, and spend all too fleeting years together as family. So throw out the notion that good design is crazy expensive or can only be bought in a fancy store in NYC. I believe in great design on a real budget- be it Target or Brick Furniture, Pottery Barn or Ethan Allen. I'd love to help you turn your home into a place that truly reflects who you are and functions well with how you live.

Melanie really took time to understand the scope of our project and my family's preferences and style. When I didn't know where to start, she provided direction and walked me through the entire process! She was there anytime I had a question, and she gave me space when I had my own ideas. Finally, she provided the finishing touches and made our space a home! Absolutely LOVED working with her and would highly recommend for any project, large or small!

Wow, I cannot put into words the absolutely wonderful way that MSI LLC transformed rooms in my home. What was done in my home was done as a surprise to me, she was able to capture my family & me in the decorations beautifully without any input from me. She takes great care in getting to know the character behind the person she is decorating for and putting that into the decorations. She has a true gift of turning a house into a home reflective of the persons living in the home. She also has a gift of being up for a challenge of seeing how far a dollar can go...she amazes me with her skills!
