We always get great service at Southside Lumber. Love the Armstrong Alterna engineered stone flooring we got for our bathrooms with help from Candie, and great price on custom size windows for our sunroom. Can't wait to start our next project! They are always helpful and professional at South Side.

South Side supplied most the materials for my home. Everyone was extremely helpful & professional but one stood out of the crowd for me. Sarah helped on the cabinetry for my new construction home & is a total pro. She could spot a potential problem on paper & fix it before it ever hit the job. Thanks Sarah, your brilliant!!

Awful customer service. They are basically "doing you a favor" when you are asking for information about the products you already purchased from them. You have to follow up more than 5 times to get their attention and then they provide an incomplete answer by yelling at you or in caps lock (when request is over email). Not purchasing from here anymore, I very much prefer Lowes customer service.

We recently completed our first-ever kitchen remodel. I had ZERO knowledge about what kind of decisions to make, and Sarah was a constant guiding light in the process. She provided reasonable choices and patiently helped me come up with the final decisions for the complete makeover. Her suggestions couldn't have yielded better results... I LOVE LOVE LOVE the acorn-stained, maple cabinets as well as the Laneshaw quartz countertops. When I needed someone to complete the travertine tile backsplash, she arranged the job and I couldn't be more pleased. Sarah was always prompt to respond to calls or visits and kept a smile on her face even though I know I was likely one of her more challenging customers. I looked at a few different locations during the preliminary planning phase... certainly happy I ended up meeting Sarah at Southside!

I was directed to Southside Lumber by my contractor. I took in a photo idea for our basement bar and Sarah helped me design it from top to bottom. She asked about every small detail that I would have never thought of. She even searched the internet to help me find the perfect sink. We will definitely use Sarah at South Side for all of our remodels!

Sarah Halley at South Side greeted us as soon as we walked in store. We told her what we were looking for and she immediately started to show and explain the differences in countertop materials. She sent us home with some samples and followed up with a home visit in a few days. We wanted a quartz countertop, needed a new sink and faucet and replacement of cabinet panel backing. She made excellent suggestions and took all the necessary measurements for the top and panels. She followed up with an estimate by the next day. She coordinated with the handyman we hired and everything was done in a very timely manner. She was very pleasant to work with, has a good eye for color and design and I would recommend her highly for any home project that you would plan.

Stephanie started our project and was very easy to work with. Sarah ordered and worked thru any problems from beginning to end. Her knowledge was very valuable in our final decisions before ordering. She followed our project closely to ensure our satisfaction. We have a few cabinet doors to replace and we are sure Sarah will take care of this with the same quality customer service. We would highly recommend South Side Lumber for "a great cabinet design thru delivery experience!."

My husband and I enjoy working with Southside lumber on all of our remodeling projects...big or small. They are always there to help us from start to finish. Stephanie started us on a master bath project and then directed us to the Herrin facility where we worked with Sarah. Sarah is absolutely my go to person. She is detailed minded and there is no task too big or small for her. I am not skilled in this arena and thanks to Sarah, my husband and I did not have to worry about our remodel. She made remodeling a pleasure...worked on keeping the cost affordable and micromanaged many details for us. Because of Sarah's expertise and designing abilities, we are now getting ready to start a remodel on the guest bath. Candy in the flooring department also did a great job helping us with our selections and order. We are grateful for Southside Lumber and their excellent staff.

For 95% of our kitchen remodel I worked with Sarah Halley at Southside Lumber. She took my hand drawings on the ideas I had in my head of what we were wanting this remodel to look like at its completion. Asked questions that in some cases I had not considered on my original plan in my head and improved on my ideas which we are great full for in the final drawings she came up with in the end. Sarah always listened to us and our 1000 questions while in the planning process and if she was not 100% sure was not afraid to say so and would get with whom ever to get us all the correct answer. With Sarah's most welcomed help when this project kicked off on December 8, 2014 everything fell into place so none of the contractors I used had to wait on any materials that I had ordered through Sarah at Southside Lumber. I most also mention another person in the design area at Southside that filled in for Sarah when I would come into the store or call when Sarah was not there. His name is Jaret and really was a big help also. I have since came back to Southside and to Sarah for or second project of a half bath in November of 2015, and again got nothing but the most professional help from Sarah again so this project like the first came together with no delays on Southside foe materials ordered!
