We were absolutely thrilled with the way Candace took charge of getting our home on the market in the best possible position. Candace and her team were always positive and upbeat, and were great problem solvers! While we were busy with downsizing and packing, she lined up her team to work around our moving schedule so we didn't have to spend any of our own time and attention on that. And when we had to leave some things behind for a few days because we hadn't fully packed, she made sure that her team was able to work around that as well. When we walked in before the sale to see how her team had staged it, we were blown away (the house had never looked so fashionable when we lived there)! We worked with Candace and Keith Nordstrom to both purchase one condo and sell another during the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic. They went above and beyond anything we could have imagined from a realtor team. The condo we sold had been a rental, so it needed some work. Even though trades professionals were in very short supply, Candace and Keith had a team they could count on. With Keith as project manager overseeing the painters, carpet installers, electricians, cleaners, stagers and others, the condo looked amazing in a matter of weeks. We received multiple offers over our asking price. Candace helped us weigh our options, so we could select the most viable, high offer. When it came time to purchase a condo, Candace helped us understand what was happening in the current real estate market and what we could reasonably expect. With her guidance, we were able to find a wonderful condo without a lot of churning, and she negotiated expertly with the seller on our behalf. I’m not sure there are words to describe the incredibly positive experience we had selling our family home with Candace and Keith Nordstrom. From the day we introduced them to the house until the closing day, the Nordstroms were attentive to every detail. Our family home was in decent shape after 70 years; however, there were areas that needed attention in order to sell. Candace and Keith took the property and transformed it in a short time into something beautiful and attractive. From cleanup to inspections to repairs, they handled it, all the while being very cost conscious and responsible. Here are a few of the many reasons why everyone should consider working with Candace and Keith Nordstrom. Integrity: This is huge in the real estate market. There was not one moment where we ever felt uncomfortable or like they were trying to cover or hide anything from us or any potential buyers. They have high standards, and don’t vacillate from them. Knowledgeable: They knew the area, the market, and what buyers in that area wanted. Their advice to us was always tempered with sound experience. Pricing property correctly is extremely important, and they helped us price the property in order to guarantee success. Having knowledge of local laws and codes is paramount to having a smooth sale process, and they were aware of those issues every step of the way. Professional: Extremely good at what they do; always checking with us on decision making. They asked for input from other realtors and didn’t try to be lone rangers. They had dozens of contacts of people to do work at and around the house. Enthusiastic: This quality about them was effusive. Their positive but realistic attitudes gave us comfort and hope because they weren’t blindly optimistic. Some other words to describe them: Gracious, flexible, good humored, even-keeled, visionary, intuitive, and, most of all, hard working. The house sold well, not because they listed it and waited for people to buy, but because they worked hard at it. They earned it. Because of the qualities above and more, the house sold in 10 days at quite a bit over the asking price. All of us were astounded. We can’t thank them enough, and we are writing this in hopes that those reading will be convinced and persuaded to have the same experience with them as we did.

I could not have found a better person to handle my house sale. A mere two months passed from the day that I met Candace and the day that the house transferred to new owners. I was acting as trustee and had not lived in the house. Candace helped us sell our home in Corte Madera, and we are so happy she was our agent. My wife and I have moved six times in our lives. We have dealt with some very good Realtors, but Candace and Keith are by far the best we've ever had the pleasure to have worked with. They are both extremely knowledgeable of the market and were able to steer us in a direction that needed up meeting us $100,000 more than we initially thought we could get. Candace's attention to detail, ability to recommend upgrades without breaking the bank -- i.e. identifying what should be done to sell the house, vs. spending money needlessly on non- essential items -- and network of repair and design professionals made us feel extremely comfortable during what can be a stressful progress. In addition, her marketing techniques, which included staging, professional photos (including from a drone!), ad placements, etc., really put our house air the top of the list. Her husband Keith is also a secret weapon -- he and his team go through the inside and outside of the house and make the repairs that are needed -- and that an inspector would call out. He provides his services as part of their offering for up to 50 hours, which saved us thousands of dollars if we had gone to a third party contractor/repair person. They took care of all of the inspections up front and did a proactive inspection so that the entire deal was "clean" for prospective buyers. Last bu not least, 10 days before closing, we had a major water issue when our washer leaked water all over the wood floors and under the house. They both jumped on it immediately and organized a team to take care of all of the damage, including drying the floors, replacing wet insulation and removing standing water under the house, preparing the food floors, etc. We were able to close and the buyers were very satisfied with the condition of the home. I cannot stress what a great job the Nordstroms did for us from beginning to end.
