We hired Pulp to pull together our kitchen remodel, we needed help choosing finishes, paint colors, art, counter top materials, etc. and really wanted a special feel to the new space. Pulp Designs was able to give us something completely fresh and unique but spot on with our taste level, we're really excited about the end results and will be working with them on the rest of our main floor as well.

Pulp design studios is AWESOME! I have worked with them for a year and a half to consult on the finishes of my home (which was a customized pre-sale) to picking all of my flooring, tile and carpet. Also my furniture, lighting, paint, bedding and window treatments. The planning was phenomenal! I wanted to kiss her for her lighting selections (j/k, but it was amazing)! The furniture is out of this world and I was able to start receiving my new furniture for my new home one day after moving in! (Would have been before but the builder pushed closing at the last minute). There is no way I could have done this and this would not have been as well planned out if we went with designers from a high end furniture store. Did I mention that they also helped to stage our home! Which sold after 2 days of being on the market! (they staged our home with our existing furniture, before I sold what didn't fit with the style of our new home) If you cannot tell from my review, I love them and if I had to choose all over again, I would choose Pulp Design Studios. They were amazing to work with! I will post pictures soon as the wall-paper is hung! (which they selected!)

I felt we would save money in the long run on our Mid Century home we are fixing up to rent, by using a designer. I have never used a designer before. This was money *very* well spent. I decided to hire Beth after I looked over her portfolio on Houzz and am so glad I did. We are do it yourselfers for the most part, as we can do a lot of the work, but we plan to also hire out what we can't do. Narrowing the choices in finishes, flooring and colors has put my mind at ease and made me confident to go for it. Beth is just wonderful and knew exactly what would work in our Mid Century home and told me what not to do as well as what to consider, which has already made our project go so much more smoothly. I hired her to come and do a walk through consultation and she was generous with her knowledge and I feel I can call her and hire her in the future for more help if I get stuck along the way. We are on a budget of course and I had a time constraint with the consultation and Beth kept to the time frame. I am an artist and have some design experience on my own, so I didn't feel I needed her to do all the work for me, so this sort of help worked well for me. If you are not as inclined to do a lot of the work yourself, or are overwhelmed with choosing among so many options I would certainly hire Beth to do the work of dealing with contractors, selecting hardware, lights, finishes etc. and such. She is very talented and as you can see by her photos on her website does beautiful work! Oh, she also gave me a great color combo to paint the exterior of our house. Thank you so much Beth Dotolo!

Pulp Design Studios helped us "freshen up" our main living spaces. They helped us design a great shared space in our sitting room that functions as a playroom but is not an obvious "kid space." It is practical but sophisticated; a space that both kids and adults can enjoy and appreciate. The Pulp Team also transformed our living room simply by changing out the rug, pillows, and a few accessories. They were wonderful to work with, had fantastic ideas, and completely understood our taste and design goals. In addition, they assisted in giving our kitchen and powder bath face-lifts on a small budget, and they redesigned our master bedroom, also on a limited budget. They were always respectful of our budgets and our ideas, and they chose great pieces that are unique but practical. They were wonderful at mixing lower-end pieces with some fantastic high-end, splurge pieces. They create vibrant, unique, sophisticated spaces that are also livable and practical for a family. We just adore the Pulp team and would highly recommend them to anyone.
