My Plumber

Hired "My Plumber" to install a gas line to our deck for use with a natural gas grill. The job involved connecting to a nearby fireplace gas line in the basement, out the sill, running approximately 15 feet to the deck location. When I made the appointment I was told there was a $59 service fee and that their rate was $85 per hour. The gentleman on the phone (owner?) estimated the job to take between 2 - 3 hours. Fair enough. To our surprise, TWEO plumbers arrived and "re-estimated";the job between $500 - 600, including labor and materials. Since my wife already took the day off from work we bit the bullet and had them do the job. The job did take exactly three hours. They charged us the$59 service fee and approximately $50 for materials. They also charged us $450 for labor..................evidently $75 per hour for each of the plumbers. The grand total was $558, nearly twice the estimate. Whiled they arrived on time and seemingly did quality work, there is no excuse for the "bait and switch" regarding the labor cost. They told my wife "the job was more difficult than they originally thought". I call BS. It was a very straight forward job and should have required only one plumber. My first, only, and last experience with this contractor. Caveat emptor.........................

My Plumber replaced our bathroom faucets and hooked up a natural gas heater in our basement. They do quality, honest work and are prompt arriving. I also used a coupon for a discount in the local Painesville shopping flyer.

My Plumber worked two projects for me, a tub to shower conversion and a remodel of my stall shower. Both jobs were ceramic tile with all new plumbing and fixtures and hardware (moen) and Basco doors. Workers Charlie & Bill were truly a joy to work with, very skilled and professional. I recommend this company highly. They treat your home with all the respect that you hope all contractors would.
