The backyard has a pool, outdoor shower, and kitchen, and several of those fixtures had been added years after the original construction. The plumbing layout had become difficult to follow. We brought Repipe1 in to replace the old water lines throughout the home and extend new supply lines to the pool equipment area, outdoor shower, and kitchen. They installed individual shutoffs for the backyard connections and replaced older branch lines feeding the exterior fixtures. The project covered roughly 350 feet of new piping across the property. Living near the Irvine Spectrum area, we see many homes with later additions and upgrades. Repipe1 did a good job bringing all of our plumbing connections into one organized system.

A toilet started bubbling whenever the washing machine drained, and water would occasionally sit in the cleanout. Repipe1 ran a sewer camera through the line and found a section with a noticeable belly where sediment had collected. The crew repaired that section and checked the rest of the line toward the street. They also tested the drainage from several fixtures before leaving. The washing machine can run now without the toilet making a sound, and the cleanout stays clear.

Installing a whole-home water filtration system wasn’t the only thing our plumbing needed. During the installation, it became clear that the old pressure regulator was well past its prime. Both upgrades were completed during the same visit, and the difference in water pressure throughout the home improved instantly. It’s one of those improvements that’s easy to appreciate every single day.

Repipe1 tied the filtration system directly into the main water line and installed a bypass valve for future servicing. They also walked us through the maintenance schedule before leaving. It’s been a worthwhile upgrade for the entire home.

Our 3,200 sq. ft. Irvine home still had the old water lines, and we were also adding a larger laundry room during a remodel. We called in Repipe1 to install new PEX lines throughout the home, including dedicated hot and cold water lines for the laundry area and upgraded shutoff valves at the fixtures. The repipe covered four bathrooms, the kitchen, laundry room, and outdoor hose bibs. They also rerouted several branch lines to improve future accessibility. Having everything tied into one upgraded plumbing system made the remodel much easier to plan.
