Haystack Home Inspections

Chris went above and beyond for our home inspection. His inspection was thorough and professional. I work in building consulting/engineering and found him to be extremely knowledgeable. He was very good at explaining things and identifying where best practices had not been followed by the builder - this was helpful since these are small things we will want to fix once we move in (but that wouldn't hold up the sale). He was presented with a difficult situation when an issue with the plumbing caused a back up of water when he tried to test the fixtures, and he dealt with it very professionally. He was sympathetic to the homeowner, while doing his best to get all the information he could for us from the plumber and other professionals so we felt that we were in the loop with what was going on. Through no fault of his own he had to deal with this and even made the effort to drive back out to the property late on a weeknight to make sure he got the full story from the plumber! All in all a great experience.

Chris from Haystack Home Inspections provided a home inspection for our condominium in Vancouver. We found that he was friendly, easy to talk to, and most importantly he was very knowledgeable and thorough. His inspection report was detailed with great tips on maintaining and improving our home, as well as a handy green - red visual key for things that were great to things that needed attention. I would not hesitate to work with him again, and I will be referring him to friends and family.
