Julia is incredibly talented in her vision as well as her execution. She is professional and always honest about the project at hand, on time, tidy and trustworthy. She is a positive and artistic person who works well with clients and has numerous ideas and suggestions for a project but allows the client to dictate direction. She has completed coordination of painting of all our woodwork, trim, doors and baseboards in the family room/kitchen/guest bath. She has done custom kitchen cabinets for us, including specialized finishes on island and hall cabinet. In addition, Julia was able to update faux painting in our study and our family room, despite a change in light fixtures and re-plaster of the wall; it was amazing!! Julia has a keen eye for color and detail. She is detail oriented and offered many suggestions Project detail: KITCHEN: Cabinets and doors painted and gel stained to look distressed Built in hutch painted and gel stained made to look different from cabinets Walls textured and painted One wall designed to look like Austin stone using joint compound Trim added to cabinets to change the look Undercounted lighting/pendent lights Beadboard added in various places to update DEN: used dark stain on cabinets and bookshelves as well as crown moulding on shelf tops. We were so happy with the way everything came together and made out home unique.

Julia did an excellent job on our kitchen. We had another company to apply a skip trowel texture and paint our kitchen. They did a good on the texture, but the paint job just didn't get it. Julia came in and applied a faux finish using tinted glaze to enhance the skip trowel texture. The glaze was the perfect touch necessary to work with existing cabinet wood tones. We love our kitchen. I highly recommend Julia and Unique Creations.

I love my kitchen table and have had it for several years so when the wood veneer table top started to discolor I contacted Julia at Unique Creations. She was able to refresh my table top so that it matched the base of the table exactly and she sealed it. It looked great! Later, when I put a hot plate on the table it turned the plate spot grayish/white. I called Julia back for help and she easily (for her!) repaired the singe and made it look as new. She is timely, professional and a master at making things more beautiful! I would definitely recommend her!

Julia has done two bathrooms and some cabinets for me. She did excellent work and finished on time and within budget. She was very creative and imaginative with her ideas and designs, and she was very helpful in coming up with solutions for areas that I was unsure what to do with. I had an odd shaped window in my bathroom and she gave me a few good ideas for dealing with it. I decided to cover it with stained glass, and she put me in touch with someone who could do the work. She was very professional and was always on time and ready to work. I felt comfortable having her in my home and would feel very confident recommending her to my friends.
