Basin, formerly, Bloom Outdoor Environments is backed by over 15 years of Luxury Swimming Pool Construction and Design. As Basin’s owner, Nicholas Buchholz has a true passion for creating the Swimming Pool of your dreams. So, now, It’s time for a change. When Bloom first started, we set out to be a reliable and trusted source for custom pool builds in the Nashville area- and we succeeded. Along the way, we realized something… we are driven by design. To emphasize this focus, Bloom Outdoor Environments is evolving into Basin Pool Designs. You may see us using both names and logos interchangeably during this transition, and that’s okay! We’re still the same- only better. We will continue to build the outdoor environment of your dreams, but now, it will be driven by our new model that uses our designs as the foundation of everything that we do. Basin Pool Designs is the only company that you need to make your backyard dreams come true. A little about us. Nicholas grew up in Franklin, Tn, but left for the the desert of Arizona to hone his skills in building and design. Nicholas has also been constructing gunite swimming pools since 2006 and has built some of the most impressive projects in the country. Understanding both design and construction sets Basin apart from many builders because we understand the importance of designing with construction in mind. Building a business with a reputation for creative swimming pool & landscape design was important in Arizona, and Nicholas has brought that same passion back to Middle Tennessee in 2013. With a new family, Nicholas wanted to come back to Tennessee so his family might experience the positive influence and value system that sets Tennessee apart from any other state in the country.
