Save yourself the headache and go with a different pool company that knows what they are doing. So many discrepancies and mistakes have been made. Retaining wall was done incorrectly and mud got into the pool . Owner doesn't care and only wants your money.

Don't let the name fool you, this is Blue Haven. Known for hostile interactions after they make false promises, shotty workmanship, zero knowledge in actually engineering plumbing design to support features, and generally overcharging for even a basic pool. Avoid at all costs.

We love our pool! Our experience with Blue Haven was a good one. There were delays due to weather for sure, but they powered through. Our salesman, Pete, went above and beyond and Jaimie was amazing keeping everything on schedule. The companies that came out to dig, tile, lay concrete and plaster were all professional and experienced. There were some hiccups, as I am sure is hard to avoid with any build, but the Bluehaven team worked professionally with us to find solutions. Thank you Bluehaven!

Deciding on a pool construction company was not an easy task. I honestly interviewed 5 or more companies. I stumbled on Blue Haven and met with Carrie and I was impressed with her knowledge. We signed our contract in the late fall and our pool was swim ready by June. All construction projects have bumps along the way, but Blue Haven addressed everything immediately. Their workmanship and customer service are superior. Fairfax County zoning can be a challenge. I was most impressed by how they navigated that entire process with no delays. Jaimie, Nate, Nathan, Ryan and Vicky were all there to address all my questions and "demands."

I’m in the land development industry. We just completed a winter build in May with Blue Haven. Land development by its very nature is a violent and destructive process. The crew at Blue Haven handled the process and all the rain this season like seasoned professionals. Well done! We love our pool! Thank you!

Blue Haven built our pool a few years ago. We are very satisfied with the build quality of our pool and the continued high-level of customer service they always provide whenever we have questions or are in need of anything. Our family loves our Blue Haven pool and we recommend them highly for anyone considering building a pool.

I am in the final process and very concerned. I went through the whole winter build process being told the pool would be open early for the season. I kept getting pushed back and final straw was when my foreman (who has only been here a few times) got a "monster job in Centerville" and we would not be getting our plaster. I had to beg for answers from things. I was suppose to have a pool school this week and it was pushed back. The filter kept shutting off and I was told this was crucial to have running 24/7 after plaster. I told Vicky numerous times and was blown off. After insisting, Nathan who is very nice came out and said I was right. Then it kept shutting off again. Told Vicky again and she said Tony would call me. He was service. Asked for his number she would not give it to me. He did call later that day. He came out and said that the air sensor was bad and we had to wait to get a new one. The pool service they said happened at 5:30 am that week. I was up no one was there and there was someone here at 9 am who pulled away when I got out of my car which was odd. They tell you that you will get a 20% discount pool service when you sign the first year. Then told me that they can't give me pool service because they don't have people three weeks before it was suppose to start. Jamie and Tony are very nice and responsive. Vicky is so mean and rude. Sending 50 emails with different dates all the time instead of one PDF. My filter right now is making a loud noise but Im sure I won't get help. I run a business and honestly this is not customer service. No one will respond when my pool is getting inspected--I have asked Vicky numerous times. Walter who did my decking was amazing. I hope I can get the faulty equipment fixed and the other things done. This has been more stressful then when I bought my home in Potomac. I wanted to work with a family business being a business owner myself the last 18 years but this has been a really bad experience. As soon as the contract was signed issues started.

To put it kindly, I had a challenging experience with Blue Haven Pools that left me feeling frustrated. There were notable issues with the quality of work and customer service throughout the project. The coping work required several visits to address, yet the problem remains unresolved. Communication with the company fell short of expectations, particularly with Vicki, Frank, and Nate, some ending quite hostile. I also encountered challenges with the initial cost estimate and experienced excessive delays in construction. Unfortunately, the project remains unfinished despite the 6-month extended timeline. I observed issues with the pool plaster, tie-downs, deck, umbrella sleeve, and, most concerning, a leak that requires attention. Throughout the entire process, I noticed a significant decline in the company's responsiveness and commitment to addressing and resolving these issues. I've attempted (more than 20+ times) to have a sit-down discussion with Blue Haven but was told that wouldn't happen unless I removed all company reviews online. This review is more than just a grievance; it's a warning for others considering their services.

Jamie McDowell was an absolute professional during our entire pool build project. Always pleasant and easy to work with. She expertly handled all aspects of the scheduling, and weathered some pretty difficult predicaments during the COVID 19 pandemic. From my perspective, Jamie is the glue holding the Blue Haven team together. She deserves a position of increased responsibility now. Dave Boyle

Had a quote And wanted one last change to the quote and was told and insult and that I should look somewhere else for a pool. Very poor customer service.
