My family and I contracted RTK and Bob to do our backyard last fall. We were under contract to put in a swimming pool (contracted with another company for pool only - not RTK) and were looking for someone to do our patio, landscaping, and pavilion. From day one working with him, he looked out for our best interest. Bob dedicated time and reviewed our pool plan and provided us with suggestions for our yard and changed our plans based on our needs. He recognized issues with the pool plan immediately and fixed things so that our experience was smooth and in line with our wishes. Bob was great from the get go and he listened, which I can't say enough about. If it wasn't for the time he spent, there is no way our yard would look as good as it does now. Bob was open and honest with us from day one. He recognized our needs and in light of staffing & supply shortages (pandemic related) to work effectively throughout the process. He worked around the pool company schedule and was here with us every step of the way. He showed up when the pool company dug our pool when he didn't have to just to make sure everything went well and was according to plan. Bob showed up here so much to check in on things that my kids ask us when Bob isn't here if he will be coming today. The work quality that the RTK team did was top notch. From day one grading our yard to final last minute tweaks to make everything perfect, I can't say enough good things about this group They have created a back yard that we dreamed about. Anyone thinking of using RTK for their dream backyard, do not hesitate. You will not be disappointed!

I contacted Bob in October 2020 to design a patio and fire pit. He came back to me in November with plans, and said "I'd be outside having a cigar on the patio by New Year's" if I wanted to move forward. We moved forward with the project, and Bob had it done by Christmas. We couldn't be more pleased with our patio, fire pit, outside shower, plantings and lighting. Our family and friends rave about his work. I highly recommend Bob and RTK for all of your landscape designs. You will not be disappointed!

Bob gives you the ultimate experience with back yard design and pools. I can only speak fondly of him and his professionalism. We had a custom designed front facade and a full backyard done, and it is nothing but beautiful. I recommend Bob for his honestly, promptness and keeping his word on what needs to be done.

We hired RTK Design Group to design our back yard. We had put a pool in and were not sure what to do next. We ended having RTK do everything, new sitting area, design around the pool (pool deck), landscaping and lighting. It came out much better then we could even imagine!!! The comments from friends was "Holy cow this is a Hollywood backyard", "Are you rich?". We put in the Travertine which was very reasonably priced and looks very high end. What I really appreciated as well is that they showed up when they were supposed to and the worked were extremely courteous and neat. I highly recommend this company.

My husband and I were drawn to Bob's display at a home and garden show. We needed to replace an existing deck and were looking for ideas. After consulting with several people, Bob came up with the most interesting idea - building a patio using travertine. Unlike the others we spoke to who were going to construct something with the exact same footprint as our deck, Bob's plan was creative due to his background in design. He was a pleasure to work with as were his crew. We love our new patio and everyone who sees it can't stop raving about it!

My husband met Bob at a garden convention.... he was pleasent and really knowledgeable. Bob provided us with a design plan in less than a week of the convention. It was exactly what we were looking for... after three failed attempts with other company's. We finally found our match, After viewing the design, BOB had us on the schedule with in three weeks. They finished a 4 day job in two days. What an amazing job they did, I couldn't believe how professional, organized and clean they were. Our yard looks simple amazing, the perfect entertaining space. We called RTK Design Group to renovate a foreclosure we purchased. Bob fully gutted the whole first floor, creating a brand new kitchen, master suite, and adding in a powder room. We could not be happier with our beautiful new home!

After moving in to a brand new home with no landscaping and an unfinished basement, we contracted RTK Design Group to do a complete landscape design & installation including front yard, back yard, custom outdoor kitchen, patio and fire pit as well as a custom finished basement complete with a full wet bar and creation of a full bathroom. We also required design and installation of a built-in wall unit across our family room wall as well as the sourcing of patio furniture for both our front porch and back yard. RTK wildly surpassed our expectations, designing and executing each space to our exact specifications and making every dream become a reality. Bob Kaye walked us through each step of the process from conceptualization and design to choosing the perfect stones, tiles, moldings, outdoor appliances, patio furniture, the list goes on and on. It was most important to us to be able to choose one designer that we knew would handle all of our needs, from concept to construction, both indoor and out, which is not an easy task, and Bob managed not only to do so with ease, a wealth of knowledge, impeccable taste and an incredible team, but remained true to his word every step of the way from price and quality to time line and of course final outcome. Every inch of our yard and basement are phenomenal and our friends and family are blown away every time they pull up to the house and walk through the door. We received countless pitches and price quotes and while Bob was not necessarily the cheapest, nor the most expensive, we had a great feeling about him and his company from the beginning and he absolutely proved that you get what you pay for and you should always go with your gut. We could not be happier with our choice and the work of RTK design group and would recommend and use them over and over again, as we plan to do with each improvement and addition to our home moving forward.

RTK is responsible for most of the upgrades on my home for over 10 years now. Thoughtful designs, solid work and customer service is why I keep using RTK for my home from sprucing up to a major alterations or addition. It is rare that you find a contractor who stands behind his work as much as Bob Kaye does for RTK. He is very responsive and will tell you all the alternatives. RTK is not the most inexpensive contractor you can use, but the quality and design you get is much less expensive than a lot of other contractors much higher priced. It's good to work with good reliable people and every project was a pleasure.

Bob is a very skilfull and talented Design orientated individual. Very easy to work with and resolves all problems to the customer's satisfaction. His company completes projects on time and on budget. I would recommend him and his company for any residential or commercial project. You will not be disappointed.
