Aeon Stone + Tile

I cannot speak highly enough about the customer service we received as homeowners who worked with Aeon. Tushar is a gem! We are undertaking a significant project by completely gutting a large 4 level home and although we have an exceptional contractor ( Eyco) enjoy and believe in making certain choices ourselves . They also have a related Italian kitchen/ lighting and design centre ( Habitat by Aeon) a few blocks away and we as a result of product knowledge and price and product decided to use them as well in preference to another prover we were about to commit to

The customer service level in the showroom is appallingly poor. They are clearly not interested in working directly with homeowners but either force one of their designers upon you or require detailed proof of the design relationship with one of their preferred providers before they will release cost information or consider taking the order. They key words in that sentence are "taking the order". The designer staff forget that they are in a sales industry where customer service is a necessary piece of the puzzle in order to make the sale. It is a shame - they have some beautiful product. But the poor service levels have forced me to take my business elsewhere. This job was a small one. The next one is much larger however I will not purchase from them out of principle, nor will they be given the opportunity to quote on the work.

I have renovated many homes in my life so I know a bit about these products and installation. We went there and receptionist gave us info that contradicted the website and she didn't really know what she was talking about. We nicely asked for a sales person who was nothing but rude and belittling. I asked for some samples and the reply I got from her was, "I would have to find them and I'm too busy to do that right now. Could you email me with what you want and when I get time I will find samples, and you can come back to get them." So that would waste about 1 hr of my time but she couldn't take 2-3 minutes to find the samples. My wife just walked away she was so mad and when in the car stated, if this was the last place on earth she would not buy from here. We drove about 10km and found an other tile store that sold the same product and spent our $2500 at that store instead. (Oh and about $5 sq ft less expensive than Aeon). It has only been about 10 hrs since this and already I have told one big contractor to never use this company and I don't think he will. I will be telling more.

If more stars were available Aeon would get them all. Not only is our local rep Colby an efficient and pleasant person but he is also a really nice man to do business with. The product presentation and branding is so lovely and the sample size and quality they supply us with makes it easy to spec and sell their beautiful tile and stone products. Sample ordering is easy and immediate. Keep up the great work Aeon!
