Freeman's Custom Marble

We are just wrapping up a complete new build for our 3000 sq ft home, and Mike did an amazing job on our hardwood flooring. Our house had a few unique angles that created a challenging floor layout and Mike's year's of experience were perfectly suited to make all the joints line up perfectly. He also stands by his work, and came back when a sliding door trim piece did not install correctly. Mike also heard our request to minimize the character in our wood floor by putting most of the knots under the beds, and he also laid out the wood so efficiently that we did not need the 15% surplus that we planned for. I highly recommend Mike. He is a craftsman thru and thru and takes pride in his work.

Mike was wonderful to work with! He took the time to go over our tile layout before starting to make sure it was exactly how I wanted it and he executed it perfectly. His attention to detail and communication with any issues during the project were very much appreciated. We couldn’t be happier with how our bathroom tile turned out! We will definitely be using him again in the future!

This is the opposite of the review I wrote recently. Mike is a craftsman and does good work… However, after working with him very harmoniously for weeks, he got really angry, threw down his tools, and stormed off the job. It was very unprofessional. Then when he came back 90 minutes later, he was agitated and angry but he refused to tell me what happened or what I did to deserve that level of anger. From that point on he did very poor work. He left baseboards loose, didn’t mitre the corners, didn’t pay attention to detail at all. He went from five stars to one star in the blink of an eye. He was to return today to place my toilet and shower grab bars. I PAID HIS BILL IN FULL, because he promised to return. Then at the last minute he said he wasn’t coming, and he said I didn’t pay my bill! I paid his wife through Venmo for the amount that was on my invoice, so saying I didn’t pay my bill is not true at all. I STILL have no idea why he got angry or why the quality of his work would go from excellent to TERRIBLE. Communication is so important. My advice would be to hire Mike but DONT pay the bill in full until the job is complete. That was my mistake.

We were fortunate to connect with Mike Freeman of Freeman Custom Marble to assist with an apartment remodeling project . We were so glad we worked with him! Mike is a multi-skilled hard worker, with meticulous attention to detail. He prepared and installed our flooring, did a beautiful job building, then tiling a full shower, and oversaw the fabrication and installation porcelain countertops in the kitchen and bath. He also installed the kitchen tile backsplash perfectly. Mike is very personable and was truly a pleasure to have on our team!

Have you ever felt like all the good karma you have ever accrued finally came back to you in a time of great need? Well, that is how I feel after working with Mike. After having a horrible experience with someone else, Mike came in to fix all the damage and do the job correctly for me. He has gone above and beyond to make sure that I have every question answered, and when I feel anxious or worried, he has taken the time to talk me down from the ledge! I was very apprehensive and anxious about choosing the right person for this job when this started, but I no longer feel that way. Mike has been honest, dependable, professional, and has great empathy for others. He also has a creativity and really excellent suggestions and guidance. If you need flooring and tile work, you will not find a more talented and competent craftsman than Mike.He talks to me, and he really listens. He makes sure he understands what I think I want. If what I want doesn't make sense, he will tell me why and suggest a solution. He then has a clear vision in his mind of what he plans to do, and he spends all the necessary time and effort to bring that vision to life! One thing that was especially challenging in this bathroom was that I had the bare minimum amount of tile needed to do this job, so every cut and every piece mattered. Mike did not shy away from this challenge, he took it on and was successful. I am THRILLED with my first bathroom!! (We split the job into two separate projects at Mike's suggestion so that I could get one functional bathroom ASAP. He thinks about things like that, which I never would have thought of!) Mike also has been managing the project and making sure that electrical and plumbing tasks have been handled by people I can trust. When I met the plumber and watched them work together? It was like, "Wonder twin powers, activate!! (If you are a child of the 70's or 80's, you'll get that. lol) To know that Mike is there for anything I need means A LOT. If you need any kind of tilework or flooring, please do not hesitate to hire Mike. You will LOVE HIS WORK, GUARANTEED!

My home was transformed before my very eyes! It went from "Yikes!" to "Wow!" Mike's superb skills and impeccable work were evident from the start. He carefully and meticulously took care of my flooring, baseboards, the tile in my shower, plus the tile above the tub. Mike masterfully installed my kitchen cabinets and a tile backsplash as well. Mike steered me to suppliers he used and trusted and even met me on one occasion to look at specific items. He gave me suggestions regarding which materials to purchase and which to avoid. His expertise was much appreciated. Mike was very detail oriented and did a wonderful job. I was so impressed with the final results and would definitely recommend him. Mike Freeman is the best thing to ever hit the OC remodel market. He has set prices so you never feel like you are being taken advantage of and he is capable of way more than tile and stone. He did my baseboards and the casing around my windows, all my kitchen and bathroom tile, and more!! Will definitely use him again. Quality work at a fair price!!!!
