Don't hire. I experienced substandard tile jobs in 2 bathrooms and laundry room. The tile spacing is uneven as well as the tile depth, grout color is not uniform in any of the rooms, workers damaged the baseboards and walls when they hammered the previous tile for removal. They got glue on the laminate floor when they placed the transition piece from the tile to the adjoining flooring. The calk job around the baseboards is appalling-like a 4-year-old with a calk gun. The workers also stole leftover supplies, as well as bought tall screws for the toilets that weren't needed, as the toilets were already on the same thickness of tile that they removed. The toilet screw caps don't fit now. They look like the heads of mushrooms on a stem.
The workers also left all the doors open most of the day and then complained about the temp in the house. They also played Tejano music loud enough for the whole neighborhood to hear, as the doors were open. I was home. There was no regard for me or my home. I had them turn it off.
I called JC Tile to remedy the situation. "Jose" was to come out to see the work He was a no-show, no-call. We rescheduled and he agreed some work needed to be done and promised to send out a tile guy and paint guy. I have yet to see either worker. I have called Jose NUMEROUS times and now 6 months later, absolutely NO ACTION has been taken.
Jose did admit he has 7 crews and he does not check up on them. Ever. It's obvious.
Floor and Decor's Installations Made Easy made it easy for JC Tile to take jobs they don't have enough professional workers to handle, and with a man in charge at JC Tile who has no regard for customer satisfaction, let alone repairing his employees' damages.
