Janis designed and carved the beautiful butterfly memorial garden to honor a dear member of our church community. She spent time on site developing and refining the design to integrate it with the garden design. She carved and stained the stones. The overall outcome is awesome!!!

Janis is AMZING! She designed a VERY special piece of art on stone for me and delivered it in just 3 days...from the East Coast to California. She took the time to listen, design and even did a few changes on such short notice. It was imperative that it be perfect, and it was beyond perfect! I can't say enough positive about this company. Janis worked patiently with me to come up with a design for the centerpiece over the range in our new kitchen. Her drawings were outstanding. When we agreed upon a design, she completed the project on time and on budget. When the piece arrived at our house, the package was damaged in shipping and the piece was broken in half, but we could tell it was perfect for what we wanted. We were heartbroken. Janis did not hesitate to get to work on a new piece, and she carved a new piece and had it out to us in only a few days. This is the focal point of our new kitchen, and we LOVE it!! We now have a stone that is an original piece of art, and it fits perfectly with the design and motif of the room. Outstanding artist with the highest integrity. If I could give Distinctive Stone Art 6 stars, I would!

This former architect turned art carver/sculptor did a remarkable job turning boulders into beautiful, tasteful works of memorial art in Doylestown Cemetery that have become the focal point of our memorial gardens. She showed up to work on site every day until finished. A wonderful job by a dedicated professional.

My wife and I ordered a backsplash stone for behind our range. When we reached out to Karmic Stone, we weren't exactly sure what we wanted. Janis talked with us both and came up with a sketch that was fantastic. She then went to work on a 12 x 24 piece marble. The finished product was stunning! I am not kidding when I say that it brought a tear to my eye when I saw it. Slight twist, when we received the stone, it had been damaged in shipping. Janis took that as a challenge, and she made another stone that was more beautiful than the first. Karmic Stone had the best customer service, and the most beautiful artwork I could have ever hoped for. I cannot recommend a company with any more confidence - in a word, "Outstanding".
