We had Mike refinish our downstairs bathroom a couple years ago and we were so impressed with the work he did that we recently had him do our master bath. Because he has done work for us before, we already knew Mike is the best at tile and we could expect top quality work, and he did not disappoint! We absolutely love our bathroom!! We used both glass and porcelain tile and it’s obvious he is extremely skilled with the different types of tile. Mike is so meticulous and he pays attention to every detail. He is a perfectionist when it comes to his work. I’m horrible at making decisions and he was so patient and helpful, and once I finally decided on something he was happy to make it exactly like I wanted it. He made sure I was happy with every little thing along the way and he was great at offering suggestions to make it look the absolute best. He’s honest and friendly and very easy to work with and talk to. Simply put, if you’re looking for the best, go with Maxim Tile! You will not be disappointed!! Well worth the money and the wait!

Mike Knuz is not just a professional tile contractor, but a true artisan as well. Our master shower started to leak and we thought we could retile it on our own, well… let’s just say that idea was full of false assumptions. The biggest one is that if you think you can do it better than anyone else—think twice. I am confident that if you need to replace a failed shower in a custom home, you HAVE to call Mike. You can get other bids and ask them what they will do, but then you should talk with Mike. You will see and hear the difference. Any tile work in a custom home requires not just high quality work, but creative and artistic integration into the home’s interior design. To do otherwise diminishes the quality of the rest of the home. Mike was very knowledgeable and provided us with information on what steps needed to be taken and exactly what he would do to finish the job right. After bidding the job with four other tile contractors it was an easy decision to hire Maxim Tile. He will answer all your questions and give you the best solutions to your tiling needs. His experience and professionalism shows in the high quality work that he delivers. Working with Mike was a pleasant experience. Mike is easy and friendly to work with. You will find you can trust him as he keeps to his word and schedule. He has a positive attitude, strong work ethic, is clean in his work (as any remodel can be.) He doesn’t smoke and does not use foul language. When he is done, you will not find a tile out of place. Thanks Mike for bringing our master shower up to standard with the rest of our home. Mike prepared and tiled a large walk-in shower and bathroom floor for us as we finished our basement. His experience and attention to detail were evident throughout the process. Chose this company after the good reviews and because Mike seemed really knowledgeable and to know what he was doing. Athough they weren't my cheapest quote, I'm glad I went with them. Mike was easy to get along with and did a great job replacing the tile in our small bathroom. He did it in a timely manner which was important since it was our rental property.

We have thoroughly enjoyed the workmanship of Mike Kunz from Maxim Tile. We just completed a total remodel of our master bedroom and bath and it feels like a spa. He is professional and fun to work with. He is very creative and listens to the wants and needs of the customer. He offers advice from his experience and professionalism. We have had tile workers on projects in our home that lasted a few days and their lack of quality showed. A professional job, like Mike offers, takes time but the end result is noticeable.

We needed to replace an old, junky fiberglass shower. Maxim Tile promptly returned my call, was quickly available for a quote (which was much more reasonable than others we'd gotten), and worked with our crazy schedules to get the project rolling. Their work is top quality. Really, they use the best materials and techniques. We had an odd shaped area that needed some creativity, and Mike came up with a great solution. He was very respectful, kept his work area clean, and I think by the time they finished the dogs were sad to see him go. The price came out to be very fair for the high quality shower we now have. You can certainly go get quotes from other installers, but you'll save time and have a great finished product if you just go with Maxim Tile.

Mike tiled the remodel of my bathroom. His quality of work and knowledge of colors and design were superior. He was professional and loves his work. I look forward to working with him again when I remodel my kitchen.

Mike Kunz has been great to work with. As I was not the home owner, an interior decorator or a construction whiz, I needed help with design and choosing materials. At the very beginning, it was very helpful that he showed me a picture of a design idea. Later, he came up with an idea for a great accent stripe using the tile I had chosen for the floor of the shower and he took photos to aid me in choosing between a few variations. When I came up with another idea that was altogether different that I thought would save time and money, he was willing to do that too and he was a good sounding board as I talked through how that might look. So, what I'm trying to say here is that he was supportive in helping me arrive at a design that I would be happy with. His workmanship is great. I think the result is award-worthy. I wish I had photo files to attach. I'm sure he does.

Maxim Tile did the tile in our bathroom with travertine and glass accents and we are extremely pleased with the quality of workmanship. They were thorough and precise and I love how it turned out! I didn't shop around at all, I don't think they are inexpensive but in this case you get what you pay for and I don't think anyone else could have done a better job.
