Mike is awesome. Extremely personable and will do it right the first time. He takes pride in his work and it shows by the final product. My wife and I suffered through a nightmare through a "contractor" who stated he knew what he was doing. It didn't look right to me, but I trusted him as it was my first time hiring out someone to do tiling work. Mike fixed everything; and I'd do business with him again.

Mike was very through and exacting in his job. He is very good at communicating and is timely. His follow up was great and he came back to followup on a small problem immediately. Highly recommended

Super nice guy, prompt and reasonable. Was in the middle of lots of stress (remodeling the kitchen to get ready to sell the house, due to a job layoff and a move out of state) and Mike was wonderful. And, knowledgeable, too ... asked me a lot of smart "pre-qualifying questions" over the phone, that others did not ask ... like "So, you already bought the tiles? When you measure the large tile thickness and you also measure the detail tile thickness, are they they same height/thickness?" I also showed him several layout design options, and he was very gracious in sharing his opinion as to which one would appeal to most buyers. Well, we got an offer on our house in the first 24 hours of being on the market!

Mike re did our brick fireplace, and covered it with stack stone and travertine tIle on the hearth. We have wanted to do this for quite a while and had not found anyone to work with that had good ideas to share until we met Mike. He was very professional and did a fantastic job and we have had numerous comments on the look of our fireplace now. Thank you Mike

Mike has done many jobs for our family. He does an excellent job when it comes to detail. He is very particular and respectful ! He also understands that there is always not enough time in the day to get it all done. I appreciate the fact that he goes the extra step and helps pick out the materials and picks it all up for the job. His work is flawless and I will continue to use his talent!

Mike did an excellent job for us. He showed on time and finished the job on schedule. He discussed the tile pattern with us and pre-layout the tile before installation. He is easy to communicate and the result looks amazing. We got several quotes from different people, he's not the lowest, but the quality of his work worth every penny. I would highly recommend Midtown Tile to anyone. Mike is very timely and knows what he's doing. I liked the fact that my job wasn't that big (taking out old and installing new backsplash tile in my kitchen) but was happy to help me out. He laid out the tile and showed me several ways he could install it. I would use him again for any other tile projects that come up.

When looking for a tile contractor to re-tile my bathroom, I felt immediately at ease with Mike. He was very friendly, customer focused, and enthusiastic about the job itself. From our first meeting to the final completion of the job, he was a joy to work with and made things very easy on me. The beginning of the scheduled job ended up corresponding with a time that I had to be out of town for a few days so I had to leave Mike with a key to my house because I had no one else who could be there during those first few days. While I was gone, he was very considerate and conscientious of my property and communicated regularly with updates. He even helped find a plumber for me when it was discovered that some of the plumbing needed to be brought up to code before he could finish setting the tile. He was great to work with from beginning to end and the quality of his work is really impeccable. As the project progressed, he explained to and showed me the different steps he was taking to do this job right so that it will last. Plus, I love my remodeled bathroom! I would definitely hire him again and would recommend him to friends without hesitation.
