Swank Tile

Saved my kitchen backsplash! I'd purchased a bunch of gorgeous glass tile, but none of the contractors I hired could cut it without chipping the edges horribly (I swear, it looked like a dog had gnawed on them). I complained to the place that sold me the tile, and they recommended Ken. I'm so glad they did. Ken cut my finicky glass perfectly, and he's a complete professional--communication was prompt and clear, he was punctual, he kept a clean workspace, and he helped me alter the design I started with to better fit my space. To top it off, he's also very personable and his pricing can't be beat. I'd hire him again in a second!

Ken Swank had done some tile jobs in my neighborhood and I had the opportunity to view his work. I had him give us a bid on a bathroom remodel which included tile floor and creating a shower stall over stud walls where a tub had been. He built the curb out of concrete, totally waterproofed the shower stall, mounted grab bars for us, and laid the mud shower pan. Never have a puddle anywhere in our shower stall! All of his suggestions were excellent and our finished bathroom has been enjoyed daily. Absolutely no flaws in any of his workmanship in any area. He even tiled our closet and reset a new toilet for us. He was neat, reliable, honest and trustworthy and his pricing was extremely reasonable. I wish we had more projects for him to do for us. I would HIGHLY recommend Ken. He was a pleasure to work with.
