Tony tiled my kitchen about 500 sq feet in 2014. I did not realize how immaculate his work was until 2022 when I used another company tile my bathroom. I did not write a review back then, and after getting a poor tile job, I felt he deserved a review as an honest quality contractor. I am contacting him again to try to fix my crappy tile job....

Tony did a excellent job and went the extra mile to make sure that it was what the client wanted. He is protectionist and takes his time to make sure it is done right and no future problems will develop. Always looks out for the interests of the client... keep up the excellent work!!

I went through Tony to get work done to my mothers bathroom. When I called him he was very eager to meet with me and came over right away to see what he could do for me. He looked at the bathroom and asked what I wanted to do and gave me some suggestions as well, which I appreciated. I never at any point felt like he was trying to get me to do extra work so that he could make more money off me. After meeting with me he later gave me quotes and said he would be happy to get my business. From the moment I met him I felt he was knowledgeable, friendly, and very professional. He put in new tile, redid the wall texture, painted, installed new vanity with sink and new fixtures, mirror, towel racks, reinstalled toilet, plumbing for the new sink, replaced door knob and hinges. The only thing I did not have redone was the shower because it was still in pretty good working condition but I will have him replace this at a later time because it looks a little out of place with all the other new upgrades. He also sent me to a few different tile companies where I was able to get a good price because of his account and they also knew him at these places. I went and found tile and it had to be ordered, I planned on picking it up but Tony asked when it was coming in and told me he would go and pick it up so I would not have to make that extra trip. He started work right away. He arrived early and stayed all day. He let me know everyday what he was going to do and he and his worker were very professional and cleaned up after their days work. He completed the job within the time range that he told me he would. His quote for the job was very reasonable and his work exceeded what I expected. My mother was very happy with the work that he did as well. I would recommend using him because it is very hard to find reliable, and professional people these days that actually care about the work they do and pay attention to all the details. He really takes pride in the work he does and I will have him do the work in the second bathroom in my moms house very soon, which he said he would be happy to do. I hired Tony after seeing his work on a neighbor's home. He remodeled two bathrooms and installed tile flooring in my house. He was extremely knowledgable, informative, attentive and helpful. He was timely, worked diligently, and was excellent craftsman, his attention to details was exceptional, pricing was competitive. I very highly recommend this company.

I found Tony through the Internet. When I looked at his website I was very impressed with the pictures he has displayed from his previous jobs. When I called Tony I had several questions for him and was happy with his answers. He was very informative and not at all wishy washy. Prior to calling Tony, I had called Home Depot and I would have to pay $50 to have them come out and give me a quote. The cost per a square foot to lay the tile increased significantly for anything beyond a 12x12 tile. Tony came out to my house for the bid and met with my husband. After meeting with Tony, my husband was very impressed. He was very knowledgeable and walked my husband through the entire process of laying the tile from start to finish. He sent us the quote right away and we were pleased with the price. Once Tony started working, we got to visit with him here and there. He shared with us his techniques for laying tile and he was a pleasure to talk with. He helped us determine the layout of the tile. He is not just good at setting tile, but he has good ideas when it comes to how the tile should be placed. When it comes to laying tile, he is an absolute perfectionist. If he noticed an imperfection in the tile, after having set it, he would pop the tile and replace it. He assisted us with selecting the grout. Our overall experience with Tony was great. Setting the tile was one of the last steps for us on a complete home remodel. My husband and I dealt with a lot of different trades throughout this process. Many things went wrong and a lot of times we would have to go back and finish up a job that we paid someone else to do or make a last minute trip to the hardware store to pick up materials someone forgot in their bid. With Tony, he told us to get the tile and then he took care of everything else. There was no stress in dealing with him. Payments were straight forward. I am so pleased with him that I have home coming to provide another bid for another house.

We contracted with Tile & Stone Workz to remove the existing floor tile in our kitchen, hallways and bath and install new porcelain tile (20x20), approximately 400 sq. ft. The project was done to perfection. The owner, Tony, is detail-oriented and a perfectionist with his work. He took the time to make sure each tile was laid correctly and the grout job was superb. The project was done on time and within budget. Since we were so pleased with Tile & Stone Workz, we had them do the backsplash on our newly remodeled kitchen. We used several different-size natural stone tiles in our design. Tony installed it to perfection. I highly recommend Tile & Stone Workz for your tiling project, you will be pleased. I had done a full kitchen remodel, and the contractor I used didn't have the ability to finish. They did a tremendous job, but kept pushing back on the finishing touches and back splash installation. I came to realize they were lacking a tile person, and after the round and round I finally realized I was going to have to sort that out myself. I took to the internet, spoke to several people, gathered quotes and did my homework to read reviews, verify licenses and looked at many samples of work. In my searching, I found Tony...and I feel beyond fortunate that I did. Tony provides a fair quote, is friendly and professional and an absolute perfectionist with his work. He came by, looked at the proposed work and the material that had been in my garage waiting to be installed for months. I talked with him about what I wanted to do: height of the splash, the metal edging, the difficulty of my material and his time frames of availability and for the job itself. In addition to this, I also asked whether he'd do a couple of other small things that had been left undone by the previous contractors (re-hanging the shutters in my kitchen, swapping out a pull out garbage can for one that was the appropriate size, and hanging a new chandelier in my dining room). Lucky for me he does all kinds of work in addition to tile; tile just so happens to be his specialty. He enjoys the detailed work and intricacies that working with tile demands, and you can see this enjoyment in his finished product. His completed work is amazing! Tony even suggested a bit of a design improvement with the metal edging that I didn't think about while trying to do the layout in my head. That suggestion really made all of the difference in the world. The exacting way that he reviewed each of these glass tiles to ensure there was no damage and the way he used different blades to get the cuts he wanted from very small pieces in a tight area, was quite impressive. If something didn't look right to him (even though I didn't see the flaw), he didn't continue - he stopped, fixed the problem and then continued. Many others would have taken short cuts on materials or the installation, especially when using the type of material I picked out; Tony did not. His work is now the finishing touch that makes my very nice looking kitchen remodel, truly FANTASTIC! Tony did such an amazing job, that I will be having him back in a couple of months to do two complete bathroom remodels!! I feel lucky to have stumbled upon him online and look forward to sharing pictures of all of his work soon!

Absolutely the best tile company. We hired them to remove our master bathroom tile and replace it with travertine. This was not an easy job with many corners and precise cuts. Tony studied and planned the layout for two days before starting the tile. Great precise work, best we have ever seen. Beautiful work. He has done major work for our daughter and she has just contracted with him to remodel her master bathroom. If you can find a time when he can do,a job for you, this is the man you want to do your work. I am having him back to do more work for me. You may have to wait as he is in demand, but definitely worth waiting for to do your work. He is truly an artist.

Tony did a great job for me with his superior laying of my plank tile in my kitchen and bathroom and entry way. Tony is very much of a perfectionist which really pleased me. I highly reccommend Tony.

Tony has done two tile projects for us and about to start a third. He is most reliable, trustworthy, a good communicator, perfectionist with his skills, fair minded, and a very hard worker. When he bid our first project the price came in at the middle of our bids, not the lowest, not the highest. However, we really appreciated his detail, thoroughness and honesty describing the project and timeline. It is not easy finding a contractor of his caliber and we feel like we struck gold. In regards to Tony Zaffinna: Tony completely demolished and re-modelled two of our bathrooms. This included the installation of new vanities, sinks, counter tops, mirrors, towel fixtures, plumbing of sinks and installation of toilets, electoral lighting, tile floors, tile base boards, drywall, new bath and bedroom doors, tile shower pan and floored shower tile walls. It should be pointed out that this shower installation was not the pre-fab method but the quality “Mud Float technique.” His bid was reasonable and there were few overrides. He discussed these fully and a price was determined before continuing. Tony has great attention to detail and is very particular as to the appearance of the finished product. He was on time every day and worked exclusively on my job. He assisted with color choices and recommended design changes that enhanced the final appearance to the bath room. I trusted him to do a good job and with a minimum of oversight.
