Unique Concrete

Leaving this review out of disappointment. I’ve used Unique Concrete twice. The first time for a driveway and back patio. That job was over 18,000 dollars. The second time was for an additional patio and pool deck. That job was over 15,000 dollars. This past year I called Barry Fisher leaving several messages. After weeks I finally received a call back. I rearranged my schedule to meet with him at my house. When we met, I explained that with two boys driving I just needed to widen the driveway 2to4 feet to accommodate the cars. Mr. Fisher’s demeanor changed. Mr.Fisher measured everything and stated he would get back to me with a quote. After he left, I never heard back from him. The new job was not big and square foot wise was probably a 2 or 3000 dollar job. Being a repeat customer having paid over 30,000 dollars in the past, I thought I would have gotten a better response. I’m not questioning their work. I’m just questioning their current lack of professionalism. Very disappointed.

Unique Concrete is a company of utmost professionalism, and craftsmanship. The installation of a high quality pool patio, over four years ago, is in stellar condition. Recently also resealed by Unique, the patio looks like brand new. The Fishers are Top Notch! They are highly recommended! Great in my book.

We contacted Unique Concrete for an estimate to have our inground pool deck complete redesigned. After discussing the project at length with Unique's owner, Barry Fisher, he decided this project would be something he's definitely interested in quoting. To accommodate his schedule I took off from work and we setup an appointment time for him to see the site and discuss various options. My wife and I spent nearly two hours with Barry discussing the entire project down to patterns and colors. We expressed our interest in moving forward with the project and let him know we are sincere in getting this project started. Barry said it would take him a few days and he would be contacting us for a quote. Sadly this is when Unique Concrete's truly colors began to emerge. After waiting a week I sent an email just inquiring if there's a timeframe which we could be expecting this quote - NO REPONSE. Figuring he might not have gotten the email I left a voicemail following up a few days after the email - NO RESPONSE. So we simply waited another week and attempted another voicemail - NO RESPONSE. Three days ago I left a final voicemail asking if Barry and Unique Concrete is interested in the project or if we should pursue other avenues - NO RESPONSE. Needless to say my wife and I were very excited about the options and services Unique Concrete offers but now are disappointed and confused to what happened and why Barry didn't even have he decency to say his company is not interested in quoting our project. This company exemplifies all that is wrong with contractors with the disappearing and no communication tactics that are all to common in today's world. Our advise don't waste your time attempting to get a quote or project completed by Unique Concrete because there's a good chance Barry will simply disappear.

Barry and his sons did an outstanding job on our custom pool decking/patio. We couldn't have asked for a better outcome. There was a lot of attention to detail, the job was meticulous, and all of our requests were accommodated. They truly take pride in their work. Everyone was professional, reliable, and courteous. The finished product looks amazing, and we would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone.

My experience with Unique Concrete NJ was professional and courteous from the start of the project to finish. Todd and the crew at Unique Concrete are very knowledgeable when it comes to concrete. They showed absolute pride and craftsmanship in every aspect of their work. The final product was truly unique in every way.

The problem with custom work these days is that "custom" is just a buzz word that people like to use to increase the price without actually listening to the client and creating something based on the customers needs. I felt like I had control over the entire process and my vision really came to fruition once I met with them. I plan on doing more work with them in the future and would recommend them to anyone for interior and exterior work.

I hired this company to put a new deck around the pool and could not have been happier.Barry and his team were punctual ,honest and professional. I will not hesitate to use their expertise in the future.

Unique Concrete has created a visual masterpiece concrete walkway leading from our driveway to our front door. Their work is of meticulous quality, the workmanship is perfect. Todd worked with our ideas and visions for the project, and gave us his suggestions to create the finished product. We have had so many compliments on the walkway. We also ended up having him update our half-bathroom. He suggested that we put a concrete sink and flooring. At first we were a little skepical about it, but he created a beautiful room. He also built a custom cabinet for the wave sink as featured on their website. The flooring looks like tile, people are amazed that it is concrete. Workmanship is flawless. He can create any style, color, etc. His work is truly unique!!

Unique Concrete just finished my pation around pool, steps, and concrete retaining wall with ledge stone. I am extremely happy with Unique. They were hard working, kind, respectable,knowledgeable,neat,friendly and more. I will recommend them to everyone. It was an amazing experience dealing with these guys. They were absolutely the best!
