The Mayne Tree Expert Company was founded in 1931 by Cambridge University forester Leslie S. Mayne, who mentored current owner Richard L. Huntington. Richard is a graduate of the School of Forestry at the University of California, Berkeley. Through continuing education, our arborists are dedicated to caring for Peninsula trees using the knowledge from latest advancements in research and scientific tree care techniques. Our philosophy is to provide full tree care service for our clients under the direct supervision of our University-educated principal consultant. Our Certified Arborists make the initial inspections, diagnoses, inspect the work-in-progress, and are available for any necessary follow-up work. Our tree care foremen are experienced tree workers, most of whom have been employed with us for many years.
