In my opinion, working with Jaco was a nightmare from start to finish. He was very communicative at first, but after I paid a substantial portion of the total, communication dropped off and I often had to reach out multiple times to get replies. My order was delayed, and I wasn’t informed of the delay until I followed up weeks later. At Jaco’s recommendation, three adjacent openings were combined into one larger unit to reduce cost (after I had paid), but I did not receive any of these savings myself. When the windows arrived, several items had visible damage; initially I was told a repair technician might be flown in, and later I was told to work directly with the manufacturer and that it was not on him!!! During installation, I was asked for additional payment for framing work even though the site had been viewed beforehand, and I was told installation would not proceed without that extra payment. After installation, multiple tilt-and-turn units have not operated correctly (some handles are misaligned, some windows stick, and others don’t open in all intended modes). I was told replacement parts were ordered, but they were never installed, and I was asked for additional payment to address these issues. Based on this experience, I would not use Jaco again; if you proceed, get written timelines, detailed change-order pricing, and clear confirmation of who is responsible for warranty service and parts installation.
