I worked with Nancy of Boston Window Décor to purchase a window treatment for a large window in my family room/home office. Since this room is doing double duty, I wanted something both functional and stylish. Nancy had the perfect solution in the dual-shade system by Norman. The fabrics in this line are beautiful, and she patiently guided me towards the best options for my window. The shades arrived in just two weeks, and the quality and fit are superb! By day I lower the solar shade to keep out unwanted glare and sunlight while preserving the view. In the evening when more privacy is needed, I lower the blackout shade. We were looking to cover many of our living room windows. Our house is old and has large antique windows. Nancy helped us choose a simple and clean shade for 6 of the windows which would allow for light while giving privacy. We covered the 2 front windows with shutters for a clean architectural look. The effect is quite nice. Nancy gave good advice and our installer was an expert, especially considering the old windows.
