Excellent job on my California shutters!! Every time I walk into the room, I just LOVE what I see - a wall full of white, wide slat shutters. It makes the room look so classy! They did a fantastic job and their service was very good.

Neil assisted my husband and I in selecting blinds for our sunroom. The honeycomb Hunter Douglas blinds work very well in that kind of location. Neil suggested a colour that we chose and the blinds blend perfectly with the decor. Neil noticed a slight flaw in one blind, when initially installed, and promptly had it replaced. He also returned another time to assist us with the remote, when it failed to move the blind all the way to the top of the window. My husband and I highly recommend Bruton's Decorating for completing window treatments.

Came very quickly and had lots to choose from. Hired to install shades for our bedroom which has windows facing the road as well as bathrooms and down stair bedrooms. He offered to come at two different times if our bedroom shades came in first.

I had ordered patio door shutters from Bruton`s for $2400.00 and this was a complete horror story. Neil didn`t advise us that he had never installed these before. Neil came back 3 different (he dictated the time that he would come, you had no say) times to correct his errors and when he finished today, I had to fix it myself...he wanted to come back a fourth time to use velcro. My biggest mistake was that Neil had asked for the money the first time he came out and I paid him in full. I should have waited until he completed the job. I would not recommend this company especially if Neil is the installer.

I regret that your feelings regarding this installation changed; I recall your comment of 'another job well done' at the time of payment, and you certainly seemed happy with the large order of shutters we installed for you in October.

Over my 25 years of service I've installed a number of patio door shutters for happy customers, and in fact two are on display at my store.

Despite a short delay to receive parts from the manufacturer and my objection to canceling other work and personal commitments to better suit your schedule, I am pleased with this installation and am proud to offer it as an example of my workmanship.

While we were unable to install your decorative valance initially, the shutters themselves were fully functional and we did apprise you of the need for and timing of, parts to ship from the manufacturer to complete the job. We do strive to complete client projects in a timely manner, and while the job took a bit longer to complete than is our norm, having concluded this particular installation within two weeks of the initial install date we felt we performed the work in as prompt and considerate a manner as was possible.

I am sorry you were displeased with this portion of our work for you. I hope you enjoy the shutters for many years. -Neil
