Innovative Window Ware

Terry was wonderful! He answered all my questions in a timely manner and gave a free consultation so I knew he would be the right fit for us.He found the right fabric for our roman shades which was difficult because I had a certain style in mind with a specific price point. When the curtains were ready he installed them the same day! Our installation was pushed back a bit but that was because he discovered the fabric flaw and found a remedy before installation so our time wasn't wasted. Terry also had wonderful customer service and it was a pleasure working on this project with him. We will be using him for all other window treatments.

We originally hired Terry to handle the window treatments for almost all the windows in our new house. Later, I asked for help with an unusual need--a pull-down shade that would provide an appropriate backdrop for business-related videoconferences. In both cases, I couldn't have been happier with the results. Terry is one of those professionals who knows his craft so well that he makes it look easy. When I knew what I was looking for he knew how to listen and then provide it. And when I didn't know, he came up with perfect ideas. Delivery was quick, and pricing was reasonable. When it comes to window treatments, I don't think you can do better than Innovative Window Ware.

We hired Terry three years ago to install minimalist roller shades in our common areas and honeycomb shades in our bedrooms (total of 23 windows). He walked us through the different shade options, answered our many questions, and provided several helpful suggestions. His quote was in the 'middle of the pack' and actually quite competitive with the self-install that I was (briefly) contemplating. The installer he sent out was equally professional, clean, and efficient. Terry's measurements were accurate so the fit was excellent and the look was exactly what we expected. Three years out from the initial installation, one chain cord and a cloth cord broke (by chance within a few weeks of each other) from what we consider normal "wear & tear." One e-mail to Terry and, within a few days, he was out here to personally fix both broken cords. We consider that really standing behind the product and couldn't be happier. Overall Terry definitely earned 5 stars from us and we recommend him without hesitation.

We all know that window coverings are important from a "it looks beautiful" point of view. Custom window coverings can be a challenge because we also need them to functional and beautiful. The problem with custom window dressings is that you must have a good idea of what the finished product will look like and how well it will meet your needs - and some of those needs you wont have a clue about until they are in place. Unlike box store products, you cannot just change your mind and get a refund and buy a different product. This is where Terry comes in. He has the experience to look at the site where you want to install and make recommendations for those unknown or unthought-of of details. Its amazing the knowledge and experience he has. He didn't allow me to make classic mistakes. He made sure I knew of all the options and possibilities and kept his price point affordable for the features I wanted and needed. Once my shades were ordered, they arrived in the time frame offered and installed promptly and professionally. The quality of the product was so superior to box store goods. Terry came out to make sure I was happy with them and even taught me the tricks of operating them properly. In the next few months I will be ordering more shades for new areas and am looking forward to working with Terry again.

We have had multiple windows done by Terry at Innovative Window Ware over the last five years, including a large sunshade, several smaller shades, as well as roman blinds. We have also had curtains used as room partitions done. He is excellent at listening to our design ideas, which are usually quite rudimentary, and turning them into something beautiful. We have been completely satisfied with all of the work. There have been a couple of hardware issues over time that have arisen and we have gotten an immediate response from Terry and the problems have been immediately resolved without any extra cost. He provides excellent service and beautiful products!

A very smooth, straightforward transaction. I called for an appointment, Terry returned my call immediately, and we talked about what I wanted. When he arrived for our appointment (right on time!), he brought out a sample that was exactly what I was looking for. He made a suggestion for the color - which was spot on. He measured, ordered the blinds, and had them shipped to us (we had opted to install them ourselves). When he got word from the manufacturer that they had shipped, he sent us an email. They arrived on our doorstep the next day - one week after his visit. The blinds are great, just what we wanted: top down bottom up. They look great, they work perfectly, they fit perfectly. A good transaction, no drama, and Terry's a really nice guy to work with.

Customer service was amazing. I wouldn't hesitate for a moment hiring Terry again. Responsive quick, friendly, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. Prices were reasonable. I was bracing of course for the price of custom blinds. So pleased that we went with this local business and not overpriced 3 day blinds. (we did the research, they would have been the same or more expensive). It was only 150 extra to have a contractor put the blinds in and worth every penny especially because Terry chose a good person to install. I have been eager to recommend Terry in the future.

I was in the market for interior shutters. I did my research about the various brands and their price points, so I had a good idea of what I wanted. I set up an appointment to meet Terry for Graber shutters. Terry arrived on-time and was professional and courteous. He was knowledgeable about the products, fielded my questions, and provided excellent advice. When my products arrived, the installation was quick, clean, and very nice. The service so far would have warranted at least a 4 star, probably a 5 star review already. The following is what sets Terry apart from the rest, beyond 5 stars, and warrants extra mention: When the shutters were installed, I noticed one detail about them that was not right. I checked my paperwork and noticed that I had not requested this detail in writing. This detail, given verbally, must have fallen through the cracks. This is understandable for a company that gives immense personal attention to a broad range of client demands. Despite this, I was upset because this small detail was a rather important one for me. Graciously and generously, Terry resolved this issue by putting in a new order at no cost to me. In other words, Terry doubled the material order and the work, at his expense, to please me, a first time customer. Without a doubt, if I need any other window decorating services, Innovative Window Ware will be my go-to provider. I will also be highly recommending Terry to any of my friends that are looking to dress their windows as well.

I have now used Innovative Window Ware and Terry Leak on about 5 projects in two different homes that I have owned - he is just amazing. First, he helped us deal with very difficult window sizes in our 1936 spanish style home and now he is helping us add character to a new construction home that really needs some architectural interest. He understands our exact needs from both a functionality and style perspective and he has never disappointed!
