Kitchen Backsplash Help - move light switch?

Hello. We are looking for help as to whether or not we should move our light switch as it lines up with the end of our countertop. Also, it seems the general consensus is to take the backsplash to the end of the counter when the cabinets are short of the edge. We will be taking the backsplash to the top of the cabinets and are using 3x9 glass subway tile.

Your light switch is where it should be. I would not have it moved. Glass subway tile will make a beautiful back splash!

Won't it look kind of weird around the window if the tiles go to the top of the cupboard. I would suggest putting painters tape to outline the area that will be tiled . Then you will get a better idea of the outcome.

I would suggest not tiling that wall where the switch is.
