Drawers, rather than low shelves, make sense.

Don't care for so much open shelving (need to dust what we rarely use) but it's otherwise got tremendous charm.

Like: short sides on deep pot drawer.
Like: beaded board exposed cabinet backs. Don't like much else about this kitchen. Too round-y everywhere.
Wide windowsill over sink; under counter sink as alternative to farmhouse. Possibly butcher block...
Possibly...it wastes space differently than most corner storage!
Ah, my dream for an appliance garage, although I also like the open countertop storage for odd items as in another pantry photo. There aren't many appliances except the espresso maker that we use often enough to justify an appliance garage taking up counter space in the kitchen.
I saw this in Deanne's kitchen and liked the idea better than two shallow drawers for essentially the same storage.
Not much I like: whIle it's open and flexible, it looks crazy busy and cluttered in contrast to built in shelving/countertop.
Like: wide windows, but then they have a view...
Like: bin pull handles, pendants, underc abinet lighting, lots or recessed fixtures, flooring, simple cabinetry.
Like: openness, visibility, great use of space, counter for appliance storage, pull-out shelving/drawers with visible contents, pocket doors. Not so much: unclear how is the lighting.
Like: bright, simple cabinetry with doors abutting, hardware, farmhouse sink, perhaps the flooring except that the glossy wavy texture looks plastic. Not so much the white marble countertop and hanging light fixture.
