Big Canoe Construction
We are in the process of putting in the beginnings of our landscape. We used dark grey landscape bullet bricks to border the edge. We put in black landscape cloth on top of soil to prevent weeds from growing and then covered with WV river rock stone. In the early spring we will be putting in our plants and shrubs to complete it. We are cutting costs by doing this ourselves. In WV landscaping companies would charge somewhere in the neighborhood of 20-25,000 dollars. We will have about 3,000 in it and just 2 days of work when complete.
Paint is going up in the new house! This will be the coffered ceiling in the lodge room off the kitchen. All the ceilings are going to painted with subtle color because white ceilings are boring! Keeping the house cool, crisp and calming. Using sherwin williams silver strand paint . Also using this color in the kitchen. We will be using Sherwin Williams Rain behind our built ins in this room to add a subtle pop of light crisp blue.

We used doors with the window panes in them for the office. They are French doors and we stained all the interior doors to match our hard wood floors. They are made from knotty alder wood and turned out beautiful.
