Aged French limestone flooring, antiqued Belgium Bluestone pavers, Reclaimed European oak engineered flooring, French reclaimed terra cotta tiles and proprietary decorative wall and floor tiles for kitchen and bath are the products that define Pavé Tile, Wood & Stone, Inc. Co-owners and husband and wife team François and Emmi Micallef began Pavé in 2000. Born and raised in the South of France, François has the direct contacts to import the quality of old world materials that one should expect when building a fine home. As an artist, Emmi's passion for European decorative arts allows her to bring back motifs that transcend time into historically elegant aesthetics . And of course, pairing vintage materials with contemporary furnishings - that contrast of warm and cool, old and new - create a powerful ambiance. Pavé Tile, Wood and Stone, Inc. has a by-appointment showroom located in the Pioneer Valley, five mintues from Northampton, MA. It is a five college area and voted one of the best small towns in the United States according to National Geographic Magazine. Pavé is one hour west of the Berkshires and Tanglewood, right off I91 heading toward Vermont.
