Kitchens by Authentic Design

I received a lot of compliments on the design - however there were many short-comings on workmanship: including numerous floor tiles that lifted, eavestrough that dripped and caused erosion along foundation, all of the top rows of shakes and siding fell off, and there are numerous deficiencies in the roofing. [The original roofing contractor ignored my calls, but a new roofing contractor did eventually show up and repair torn shingles and covered nails.] Many of the wall edges and drywall tape peeled soon after moving in. Cable and telephone pre-wiring was missed completely which has been a major inconvenience. Many of the windows were not properly sealed and cold air seeps in when the wind blows. Bathroom cabinet doors stick when there is humidity. Company promised stone window sills but did not honour. Also, watch out for double-billing between sub-contractors for hydro trenching and backfill, water pump and gravel. The backfill around the foundation was terrible making lawn care dangerous.
