We purchased a bathroom cabinet, top, sink & shower doors. We were very lucky to have Stephanie as our sales associate. She was very knowledgeable & honest when answering our questions. She went over installation instructions & even questioned if we had the proper product to complete the installation. She told us she would follow up on a few questions we had on a future purchase (on Saturday) & already got back with us this morning (Monday). We will definitely be back & will call ahead to make sure we get Stephanie again! Register receipt says SWILLI as salesperson.

We decided to add some storage to our laundry room so we stopped by and talked to Jas. She was so helpful. She walked us through the process of design, was patient with our changes and in the end we have a beautiful and functional room. The installation was great. Jas put us with Dustin and Joe and together they rocked it. Very happy customers!

I worked with Dewey Morris at Builders Surplus in Louisville to renovate my kitchen in my condo. He was extremely professional and impressively knowledgeable in helping me redesign the layout to give me extra space and convenience. He helped me get the countertops replaced at no cost when I noticed a flaw with the initial installation. The only thing delaying the project was the new appliances which I purchased from a different supplier.

My husband had the pleasure of dealing with several different people at Builders Surplus, Newport. They are all amazing. They’re very knowledgeable and always go the extra mile if needed. They truly have “a service heart”.

We had the pleasure of working with Loralee Latham at the Newport, Ky store and were extremely pleased with the level of excellent customer service we received from her. She went above and beyond to make sure that she found what we needed and wanted - going into the “back” room and digging in crates to find the material we desired. Even though the Louisville store didn’t have exactly what we wanted, Scott Ellis was very attentive and helpful as he tried to find exactly what we needed. For our next project, we will definitely start with Builders Surplus. Great service!

I had the opportunity to work with Loralee Latham at the Builders Surplus in Newport, Kentucky. Loralee was so helpful, professional and reliable. When she said she would get back with us within the day, she always did. She was very detailed in our order as she didn't want to disappoint us. I just wanted to say a big Thank You to Dennis Thornton with Builders Surplus in Louisville for all of his help with our Granite Countertop. It looks great and the reinstall went fine. I appreciated his compassion and willingness to listen and follow through until my vision of the finished job was completed. He should be commend for his personal touch…he was easy to talk with and he expressed empathy, which seems to be rare these days. He is just a really good person and I do greatly appreciate everything he done for us.

I did not work with any one person. I ordered some ledger stone products from Builders Surplus. The lady placing the order had no clue what she was doing so she asked another person for help. He had to go find some information but returned a few minutes later. Between the two of them they got the order placed. I paid and the lady said thanks as she gave me the change and she just stood there. So I asked when might the order arrive and she did not have an answer but the other employee said two weeks. Well two weeks passed and no stone, week three I called for the second time and was told the order was placed on a certain date but my receipt was dated 10 days earlier. He was confused but said they should arrive in a few days. I called back a few days later and was told they were still not in but would arrive in a couple of days. So week 4 I called back and the system shows they are ordered but really they have no idea what the delay is but they will check and call me back. Going to give this a few more days and then I'm just going to get my money back and go somewhere else. If they have it on the floor it's generally a good price if they need to order it I would go somewhere else.

She was personable, professional and helped me to get what I needed to complete two major bathroom floor tile, and a complete shower tile project. All materials were available as promised. I highly recommend working with Loralee.

Had the pleasure of working with Loralee. Called to make sure they had a vanity in stock and she went right away and checked for me. Once we walked into the building she asked if she could help us with anything. We told her we were looking for a vanity and she instantly knew who we were. Took us to the vanity I was looking for and also answered all my questions about other products. Customer Service was top notch. Thank you for all the help. You have a customer for life.

James Williams at the Builder Surplus in Newport, Ky is wonderful to work with. On multiple occasions he went above and beyond for my husband and I. We are building a new home and he provided us great expertise around design, really showing us all kinds of materials and matching them up so we could really see what we were purchasing. We found ourself trying to cover a linen closet and we needed to make a door. James provided all kinds of ideas and was able to dig up cabinet doors that match exactly to the vanity. I haven't had such Great customer service in a long time and by far the best while building this home.

Excellent customer service provided by LoraLee and the Manager of the store. LoraLee was helpful, beneficial and professional in all aspects of my purchase of custom windows and doors, for my new home construction project. It's worth mentioning, I did have a fit and finish issue with a set of French doors. When most companies and managers fail in the area of correcting a problem, LoraLee and the Manager got head-on involved and definitely earned my continued business by stepping up to the plate and making good on my doors. Its nice to know that not only did LoraLee provide great customer service in making the sale, but she also got the Manager immediately involved in assisting with my issues and continued to provide the same great customer service showing as much concern to correct the problem. Thank you, not only have you earned a customer but also retained one as well. Kudos!!!! LoraLee and the Team was Excellent.
