We used Cortese Construction to completely remodel our master bathroom. The project was complete within the time frame expected. They both designed and constructed the remodeled bathroom with a new larger shower and two side by side sinks. Cabinetry was added as well as a new floor. Highly recommend this company for any new construction or home repairs! We had a BetterLiving Sunroom with deck extension added to our home in December 2021. Despite a few things that required a work-around, salesman/designer, Tyler Samer, came up with a great plan that would fit into our existing space and was respectful of our budget concerns. It required only minimal alterations to our existing home (removal of a small window in the laundry room and re-routing of the gutter & downspout in the area of construction). We ended up with an 11 x 15 sunroom with an 11 x 6 deck extension. We have 4 sliding windows with screens and one sliding patio door that leads to the deck. The construction crew assigned to our project (Jeff & Andrea) were really great! They worked so hard, in spite of winter weather conditions. They removed the old deck & constructed the new foundation, removed the window & matched the existing siding, which was integrated in such a way that you cannot tell a window was removed. Likewise, the drywall inside was patched & painted expertly. They were both hard workers who did a great job, and were also pleasant to have around! I was almost sorry to see them go once the job was done. Allysa was the pleasant voice on the phone who kept us informed along the way and eased any concerns as we waited for work to begin. We also found Marisa very accommodating and efficient in handling the billing and including (and explaining) the change orders along the way. This is a top notch team who I would recommend to anyone without hesitation!

After interviewing three general contractors we selected Cortese to remodel our basement into a game room, TV / Entertainment area and ½ bath. We are extremely pleased with the process and results. We first met with Tyler S. to discuss preliminary ideas, take measurements, review concept drawings and finalize the project. Timelines were discussed and agreed on. Cortese held a pre-construction meeting where we met the project team including Brian, Vinney, Dillon and site supervisor / lead carpenter Dan. During this meeting, the team, while reviewing the plans suggested ideas and minor changes that would enhance our project. Project started on time and completed on schedule. Dillon was excellent on keeping us up to date on the process and keeping to the schedule, which was particularly important to us. His communication skills were impressive. We can not say enough good things about Dan and towards the end of the project his assistant Mike. They were meticulous in their work, fantastic craftsmanship and so detailed oriented. The entire team was so considerate while in our home, no swearing, extremely polite, and trustworthy. At the end of every day, they ensured to clean up the entire project area. The new addition turned out so much better than we envisioned. We are incredibly pleased we chose Cortese and would hire them again for future projects. We strongly recommend Cortese to our family, friends and anyone looking for a General Contractor.

We were looking to install a retractable awning in our backyard and found that Cortese provides this service after an online search. Nick Cortese came to my house to take measurements and provided a quote promptly. We ordered it in November and it was delivered to the warehouse in March (delays due to COVID which Nick explained at the time of ordering). The awning was installed shortly thereafter. The field workers who installed it were OUTSTANDING and efficient! I suggested they put it as high as it could go because I was worried it would cut off my doorway and they did exactly what I wanted. It turned out beautifully and we are very pleased. The company also scheduled a final walk through with Nick to come look at the work in two weeks which shows they put customer service as a priority. I highly recommend Cortese!

We are so happy with how our bathroom remodel turned out!! From start to finish, Cortese made the process easy and smooth. Everyone we dealt with (Dominic, Dillon, Ryan, and Rebecca) was friendly, knowledgeable, polite, and considerate. Ryan our project foreman was punctual, hard working, and thorough. He worked hard everyday, but also managed to leave our bathroom and garage clean and organized before he left. He worked fast to minimize the time we were without our tub and shower. The process went well and our results were fantastic!! Great job guys!!

Truly a great experience. we had our kitchen remodeled and the people that did the work were from Cortese, professional, and extremely courteous. They regularly asked our approval on options we had and were always asking if there were things they could do better. We had Jake who did a great job and based on the great quality of work and cleanliness of environment while working, we will use them again.

Chelsea and Aaron did excellent work...all carpet and hardwood was protected..very neat..when they left you would never know they were there., the clean up was that good. a perfect job!

The Cortese Construction Services team did an excellent job on our full bathroom remodel. We have a 100 year old house, and so our project wasn't very straightforward... It was a complete tear down, including rerouting the radiant heating system through the floor. They walked use through the entire process from start to finish, stuck to the budget, and even more impressively, kept the timeline they'd articulated to us. The ultimate result was absolutely stunning. Everyone we show the bathroom to can't believe it's the same room! I would highly recommend Cortese, and we plan on using them for all of our home renovation and construction needs on a go-forward basis.

The quality of work was outstanding. The employees were courteous,professional and helpful. They even made several suggestions which we incorporated into the project. This is the second project we have done with them and we have been highly satisfied both times. I would recommend them highly.

We hired Cortese to fully remodel our two full bathrooms. They did an amazing job helping us with ideas, being timely, communicating with us, and even cleaning up the worksite each day. We especially appreciated the care they put into doing things well--and being so sweet to our cats and kids! We've since hired the handyman division for small projects and had a positive experience.

Remodeling our kitchen this last March was our third project completed by Cortese Construction Services. We were totally pleased, as we were with the other projects. Here’s why: honesty, skilled and friendly workers were on the job every day until the job was completed, excellent workmanship, great ideas in helping us plan the work. Three weeks after completion, one of the under cabinet lights stopped working, so I called. Two days later, a worker replaced it. That’s service!

We had our 1969 original kitchen totally remodeled. Dominic listened to our needs, came up with a great design and his Team executed a final product that we are so pleased with. It was so easy selecting the finishes at his showroom. His foreman Mike and coworker Mason were on time every day. The work area was cleaned every night before they left. The work was done to perfection. There was no punch list to review when Mike left. They were very courteous, professional and friendly. I would hire them again and highly recommend them.

We hired Cortese Construction for a full kitchen and dining remodel. Not only did they deliver exactly as promised and on budget, but also within 2 days of their scheduled completion date. My wife and I couldn't have been happier with the quality of the work, the professionalism of the staff and their overall communication throughout the process. in fact, we are now redoing our bathrooms and we wouldn't consider any other contractor for the work than Cortese Construction.

During last year Buffalo, NY experienced horrible weather., my home was damaged as a result of a ice jam in the soffits once the ice melted, my home sustained water damage to my kitchen sunroom, living room & dining room. I hired Cortese Construction Services, Cheektowaga, NY and they did a phenomenal job in restoring my home to pure beauty! The contractors assigned were professional and trustworthy. All furniture was removed, covered in plastic, fragile goods were bubble wrapped and packed for me, after working in my home everyday for a month, my home was cleaned up and shop vacuumed everyday. My home was secured when they left for the day, Work was completed while I was at work and nothing was missing from my home. when the job was completed, my furniture was put back in place, I literally did not have to do nothing. My home was completely redesigned the contractors were awesome craftsmen which paid attention to detail. Among that my hardwood floors were completely restored adding "icing on the cake". I would recommend this company to anyone needing any type of residential renovations.

I needed to convert my bathroom to make it Handicapped for a roll in shower. Cortese knew what I needed and made it happen,His team did awesome work,making my life much easier.

My wife and I chose Cortese Construction Services to handle our home remodeling projects which included our kitchen and two bathrooms. There were multiple large projects to tackle and they handled all of them for us. Our kitchen was completely remodeled with new Maple cabinets, Birch hardwood floors, and countertop all of which turn out looking great! We had the privilege of working with their carpenter Todd who did an amazing job and was extremely meticulous and detail oriented right down to the cabinet handles. The kitchen is now our favorite part of the house for entertaining, and our friends and family rave about how beautiful it turned out. On top of our kitchen we later had both bathrooms remodeled with new tile on the floor and shower, vanity, lights and plumbing fixtures and new toilets in both rooms. The finish product turned out incredible and we are extremely satisfied with the quality of work and the timely fashion each project was completed in. We worked with their design consultant Michelle who did an awesome job helping us with all the material selections including our cabinets, tile, hardwood, fixtures etc. since there was so many options to pick from for a kitchen and two bathrooms it became overwhelming but she was able to help us bring everything together. We also met with and was in frequent contact with their project manager Phil who did a great job keeping each project on schedule as promised and continue to follow up with the progress making sure everything went as planned. All these projects turned out fantastic as a result of the team at Cortese Construction and I would use them again for any home remodeling project in the future.

The family who operates this company all worked together to make sure that our new kitchen was designed and produced in a very professional manor. They were always there to answer questions or take care of our concerns. It is easy to see why they have been in business in WNY for over 60 years and 3 generations!
