We have an east-facing condo and it heats up quickly with the morning sun. We needed pleated shades with a thin fan fold which would have a nice fabric look when down and, most importantly, block the sun. Gail's advice was very helpful in choosing style, fabric and colour. She brought samples to our condo and ensured the measurements were correct. [$75 charge] She is professional, knowledgeable, personable and has a creative flair. Gail always applies her discount to the final order. You do not have to wait for a sale, but can get your products ordered when it best suits you - excellent for summer cottagers. After 20 years living in our timber frame home we decided to look into window coverings for our great room. Gail came out to our home and provided much needed help with the selection of custom Hunter Douglas blinds. She completed the installation and we are more than happy! The blinds really add to the visual appeal and help with temperature control in winter and summer. We have also recently consulted with Gail for paint colour selection on some upcoming home projects.
