DJ was involved in building our home almost ten years ago and he continues to help us when we need it. He is trustworthy, smart and an excellent builder. He stays invested in his projects and stands by his product. If you or he does not like the way one of his subs did something, he does not make excuses, he has them do it over until you are satisfied. His work is top quality.

D.J. built our dream home on Tiki Island. He was there for us the entire way, helping with critical decisions, and imparting his impeccable design advice as the build progressed. D.J.'s build quality is next to none...I cannot rave about it enough. He uses quality sub-contractors and does an excellent job supervising them along the way. Unlike most builders, D.J. was there from conception to finished product. He met with the architects with us, made many excellent suggestions, and was there all the way through decorating the house after it was completed. What better recommendation can you have for a builder than saying we are still great friends with him after the build was complete? I cannot recommend a builder more highly. If you are looking for the highest quality build, with an excellent flair for design, D.J. is the builder for you.

We have worked with DJ and his team for a couple of years now on his numerous projects. He is always great to work with and has a sharp eye for detail. Many of the photos you see on this site are our home. David James Custom Builders was fabulous. We had never built a home before and the whole experience was a delight. DJ helped us decide on all aspects of the design from layout to door handles and yet made sure the house design was 100% what we wanted. The attention to details, use of high quality contractors ( our floors are amazing) and the level of commitment to ensuring the house was perfect are exceptional. I cannot recommend DJ more highly.
