Ecological Resources

One of the fantastic things that Drew brought to our landscape project was the really great creative landscaping ideas, and materials that artistically complemented the design style of our new home and it's natural setting. With his visionary use of stone, along with the complimentary plantings and unique fireplace, Drew and his crew have created lovely outdoor living spaces for us to enjoy for years to come. We were so very pleased with the ease of communication and professionalism that Drew brought to our project, and the conscientiousness of his crew. Drew has been an enormous help designing our new landscape on a very challenging piece of property. He has a wonderfully creative eye and is open to all ideas. The plant placement and quality of the installation was done professionally. He designed the stone walls to compliment our house design. Drew is extremely reliable and gratefully very good at communicating, which was important to us as we were out of state for most of the installation. We couldn't have been more pleased with the quality of Drew's work, his attention to detail, strong work ethic and warm nature all of which made him a pleasure to work with. We look forward to collaborating with Drew on projects in the future.

We recently purchased an overgrown and neglected acreage on the Animas River. We knew the property had great potential but needed a lot of help to get there. In addition to clearing and opening up the property's amazing river and mountain views, Drew's vision transformed the existing patio and landscaping into an outstanding outdoor living space. Throughout the project, he communicated well, worked within our budget, and finished on time. The result was beyond our expectations.

Ecological Resources did a design build at our newly acquired home. The existing yard was less than desirable and we knew that Drew and his team would transform the steep hillside into something wonderful. Drew Weigle is phenomenal artist, technician, professional and human being. I could not have been more pleased with his work. His communication is stellar; his planning excellent; he starts and finishes when he says he will; his design sense is spot on; his ability to interpret, build on and implement ideas excellent as well. Drew took my yard, which was basically a rocky desert, and turned it into a gorgeous mountain oasis (landscaped appropriately for its environment) that has filled out and matured over the past five years beautifully.

I only have the best things to say about Drew Weigle and his crew at Ecological Resources. Drew is very experienced and has an amazing gift for creative design. He is able to strike that fine balance between listening to our preferences and giving direction. He partners well with local subcontractors (irrigation, etc), he even met with our interior designer to integrate the outside landscape with the house. His project was completed in a timely fashion, and his pricing is very reasonable for his high quality work. On a personal level, he is just a nice person and we enjoyed having him at our house when he was working on the project!

We used Drew Weigle and Ecological Resources to design and install a complex of stone patios, walkways and staircases connecting a main residence and guesthouse in Durango, Colorado. Ecological Resources also selected and planted a large variety of trees and plants to complement the stonework. The creativity of design and quality of workmanship were absolutely top quality.
