First Choice Custom Homes built the home in which we are currently living. Although we did not build it ourselves, rather bought it from the original owners, the quality and craftsmanship is undeniable.

In Dec 2016 we completed our 2ND build with FCCH. Our first build was in 2006. People are often surprised to hear we built a second time and chose the same builder. We've had such great experiences with both Brad and Cindy. Brad was always on the job and very engaged in every step of the process. Cindy has amazing design talent and was very helpful when making our interior selections. We watched other homes take over 1 year to build. FCCH met the contract completion date on both of our homes. They really do make dreams come true!

We hired this home builder and made him very aware of our budget during EVERY meeting we had with him. He kept saying its tight but doable. After spending 3 months working with Brad we finally got the finished quote and it was more than $200,000 over our agreed upon budget. Brad was completely unprofessional and basically flat out lied about staying in budget. He wasted over 3 months of my time with absolutely no concern to what that large of a delay did to my life and family. We fired him and moved on to a better more professional builder who respected our time and budget

Brad and Cindy with First Choice Custom Homes built my home in 2004-2005. This was the first home that I had built from the beginning. I interviewed several builders and immediately felt comfortable with them. From the start, Brad and Cindy were hands on involved and there to make sure things were efficient and done right. It is inevitable that you will run into problems when taking on a project as big as building a home, but Brad and Cindy always took the high road. I remember telling Brad in our very first meeting, that everyone I worked with said that building a home would be a nightmare, Brad said "we'll show them." It really was a pleasant process. Things were communicated to me very well and we stayed on schedule during most of the project. I was always amazed at how well Brad and Cindy had things choreographed with all of the subcontractors. I have recommended First Choice Custom Homes to many people and would still recommend them highly. Do yourself and family a favor, if you are building, consider First Choice Custom Homes. Your life will be much easier and better during the process.

Brad and Cindy were very easy to work with. They welcomed us into their home office to discuss things and work through details around our work schedules (which meant after 6pm or on weekends) . They were always there to answer questions or concerns quickly. Cindy "held my hand" offering advice when asked in picking out finishes, lighting ,etc. Brad also helped us stay on track with budget and cautioned us when we were going overboard in an area. He also helped us find places in the plans that we could tweak things to get more space or avoid a master closet door that would be seen from the great room. We couldn't believe it was all done in 6 months. We've seen other houses being built sit with no activity for days/weeks. Brad is great at getting the subcontractors out in a timely manner to keep things moving!

We are happy to give First Choice Custom Homes our highest recommendation! They built our home over 5 years ago and we've been extremely happy with the quality, the craftsmanship, and the attention to detail. There are ways great about following up with any maintenance questions or needs that we have. A few years ago we added a bonus room and they completed that with excellence and well above our expectations. When we build again we would not hesitate to use them again.

I highly recommend Brad Thompson, First Choice Custom Homes to those seeking custom home design. He is knowledgeable about market dynamics, style and build from foundation to finish. His team is timely and professional and performs quality work. During our initial build, we noticed Brad had replaced the bathrooms with ceramic tile versus requested linolieum because he supports quality even though it was not planned in our budget. He also provided all hard wood stairs versus carpet for the same reason. I am currently seeking a buyer for our current home and look forwards to using Brad in the next build.
