About Us

The WoodShop SWFL LLC, formally Fitzgerald Construction Services is owned by the same owners, and we do the same types of projects, only now we have added the making of Fine Furniture, Cabinetry and Custom Built-Ins. We offer a full range of home services including Remodeling, Building, Additions, Kitchen and Baths, Custom Cabinetry and Built-ins, Furniture and Custom Homes. We work with you from concept, through the design and selection process, and keep you involved and informed right up through completion. We will make the furniture piece any size you need. Give us the dimensions that will fit into your space, and we will build it to fit. You can select the type of hardwood you want your piece made from, and the color of the finish or stain.

Richard Fitzgerald is professional, talented, experienced, responsive, and accommodating. Provided a detailed quote which was accurate so project stayed on budget except when we requested changes or upgrades. Family business with small crew who took ownership of the project and pride in their work. Would highly recommend.

6040This is the third project we have worked on with Mr. Fitzgerald. First was a 2 bedroom, two bathroom, full kitchen addition. Second was construction of a two-story, free-standing barn. Just finished is a complete renovation of two baths, two bedrooms and complete kitchen. Mr. Fitzgerald demonstrates skills ranging from structural design and hands-on craftsmanship to organizing and supervising various subcontractors necessary to completion of our projects including compliance with county building codes.
