The extensive renovation was completed on time and within the agreed upon budget with no big surprises. I hired Future Home Builders to do some landscaping work around my house. Their prices were just like the other two quotes I've received, but their customer service, professionalism and understanding of my needs have exceeded by far any other "professional" I had talked to. We contacted Ofir at Future Home Builders and asked if he could remodel our old 1950's kitchen, which included knocking down a load bearing wall to create an open counter island type kitchen. We also asked if he could turn our old water heater closet, located in our front entryway, into a powder room. Ofir immediately came to the house, took extensive measurements, and at the first visit used his laptop to generate a virtual rendering of what the kitchen and powder room could look like. He explained that the removal of the wall would require structural engineering in the form of a beam located in the attic and some extra supports placed underneath the house. Both sounded like a big deal, both turned out to be non-events that were installed in literally one day, inspected and signed off two days later. Ofir asked careful questions about how we wanted the look and feel of the kitchen to be, discussed openly and candidly the overall price range, and came back to us with a detailed payment-plan proposal within a few days. From the time we signed the contract (which he explained in detail and with careful consideration of our household pet care when we were away), Ofir's workers showed up promptly each day and performed the work at a nearly superhuman pace. Ofir's workers are, quite simply, awesome - they don't waste any time and were able to create our dream kitchen well within our time schedule. His crew would regularly stay past 5pm to finish certain items or clean up before leaving. As for the business end, Ofir is not a discount type contractor - rather, he provides you with a realistic cost of performing the work requested, and provided us with a line item breakdown of payments that were spaced out over the length of the project which kept us all "on the same page" and we only paid for the work that was being done. We really felt this was a professional way to go, because we never had to worry about writing a big check and having the workers disappear. Ofir himself is a dedicated general contractor, in the sense that he frequently visits during the project and always returns calls and answers questions 24/7. We were extremely pleased and surprised by his patience and expertise when it came to the kitchen cabinets. My wife had selected an ebony glaze finish for the cabinets that was not a "stock" item. Ofir's cabinet maker provided us with no less than 7 different samples until he had the stain just right, then installed an absolutely professional set of cabinets with "slow close" hardware and real wood boxes with perfect fit and finish throughout. We simply could not be more pleased with how our kitchen and powder room turned out. We even opted for some very exotic glass tile and waterfall type fixtures in the powder room, and Ofir's tradesman installed them with total expertise.

I have worked with Ofir at Future Home Builders on a number of projects and every time it has been an absolute pleasure. He is easy to communicate with, responds to any questions promptly, and has a very laid back and relaxed air about him. His work is of a very high quality, always a pleasure to shoot and he's very easy to work with. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone in the market for a remodel or other contracting job.
