We chose Giovannucci Brothers from a short list of candidate contractors because their cost estimate was reasonable and clearly presented, and because Brian was so patient, engaged and professional in listening to, and understanding, our goals for the project. The work entailed adding a new kitchen to a 100-year-old house, and turning what was kitchen into what is office space in the short term, and that can be bedroom or a family room in the future. Brian and his crew were unfailingly patient and creative in dealing with the surprises that are inevitable in updating a century old structure, and they were understanding and sensitive to the fact that we were living in the house throughout the project, minimizing the disruption at every opportunity. One of the most impressive parts of our experience with the Giovannucci team was that they crew arrived each morning ready and eager to go, and that they clearly enjoyed working together.
