We purchased a lackluster RV garage and loft in Flagstaff on 5 acres. Our goal was to enhance the lot by adding a connected home, and we entrusted JKC with this task. JKC skillfully designed and constructed a visually appealing home that seamlessly integrated with the uninspiring garage. After conducting interviews with multiple construction companies, it was Jeff Knorr, the owner, who left the strongest impression on us. In a gesture that showcased his confidence and transparency, he welcomed us into his own home. We were impressed by Jeff's craftsmanship and attention to detail, solidifying our trust in his abilities. Utilizing JKC's in-house architect for our project proved to be a wise decision. The design process was seamless and included a 3D model. This allowed us to virtually experience each room. We were fortunate to have Keith Buzzard as our building foreman. Recognizing the significance of open communication in any successful project, our rapport with Keith proved to be invaluable. Building the home during the COVID pandemic was challenging. The situation resulted in a substantial backlog of materials and skilled manpower, posing a threat to the project's cost and timeline. However, Keith's extensive network and strong connections within the Flagstaff area proved invaluable, minimizing delays and cost. I recall a particular instance where Keith spent hours meticulously on his hands and knees, painstakingly removing every trace of scratches and dings on the floor and walls that were bound to occur. This level of attention to detail and going above and beyond was not an isolated incident. In fact, I could recount numerous anecdotes where Keith went out of his way to enhance our journey. Kerry-Lyn Love served as our exceptional home designer, and her ability to understand and align with my wife's tastes was invaluable throughout the material selection process. She treated the home like it was her own. Her proficiency in navigating CoConstruct (a home building application that tracks costs) was instrumental in keeping the project on track and ensuring that our vision seamlessly translated into reality. It is no wonder JKC was voted the “Best Of Flagstaff” Home Builder & General Contractor (as voted by the Readers of Arizona Daily Sun) for the past 11 years.

JKC installed a solar tube in my manufactured home a couple of years ago. When the solar night light failed, they came over and replaced it for free. I had also dropped the diffuser and broke it when I was cleaning the unit. They replaced that as well, for free, and installed it even though it should not have been under warranty. I have found JKC to be very reputable, have great customer service, and to bend over backwards to please the customer.

JKC has been our remodeler of first choice for the last 5 years for projects large and small--all of which have been completed on time and on budget and with the highest quality. The work has included design, construction, painting, electrical, detailed carpentry, plumbing and masonry. They remodeled our den to include a desk with floor-to-ceiling bookcases, painted the outside of our house, built a large outdoor covered ramada, constructed a 20' high beautiful outdoor fireplace out of native stone, and responded promptly to miscellaneous minor repair requests. All of their staff were highly skilled, prompt, personable and maintained a neat work area. Perhaps the best example of JKC's customer-first culture occurred this past Thanksgiving nite, when we arrived home to find both of our furnaces out and an interior temperature of 47 degrees (it was 25 degrees outside) ! I knew JKC did not perform heating/cooling work, but with no other contractors available I called Jeff Knorr, the owner. He personally came to our house with 5 space heaters, thus enabling us to survive the night until we got service restored the next afternoon. What service! I am a huge fan of JKC and have, and will continue to, enthusiastically recommend them.

Working with JKC, Inc was the easiest construction experience ever. They reconstructed our second home after major water damage due to an interior faulty sprinkler head. The whole experience, from getting the estimate, to completing the job, we were so impressed with Jeff Knorr, owner and his team. They were so organized and on schedule. Even completing the job one week early. We highly recommend JKC, Inc.

This construction company is stellar. I had my master bathroom redone and the detail is exquisite. I have a bathroom that would rival any 5 star luxury hotel because of its artistry. It has beautiful granite, tile, and glass. Thank you Jeff, Mike, kerrylynn for your artistry. I needed their help again recently. I had a horrible leaking front window that a construction company from Phoenix couldn't fix. The leak came from the roof, tracking behind siding and into the window. Frankie was able to pinpoint this complex leak, and he fixed this problem and brought me peace of mind. These are an amazing group of people, Jeff, Debbie, kerrylynn and everyone else. They take great pride in doing beautiful work, and are so easy to work with. Thank you again.

Highly professional in all respects. Attentive to detail. Responsive to concerns. Great final product. A bit more expensive than competitors. But, well worth it. You get what you pay for.

JKC inc. did our remodel in Flagstaff. We would highly recommend them. They were professional yet made you feel like a friend. They stayed on budget, met deadlines and always communicated with us. They are very knowledgable and take great care to insure the quality of the work and any material needed is the best within the budget. It has been over a year since completion of our remodel and we still feel comfortable calling them if we have any questions or concerns. They are the best!

Bought a house that needed to be updated. Contacted JKC, Meet with the owner Jeff and then met with Kerry-Lyn for planning. This was the first time we had ever done anything like this and Kerry-Lyn walked us through every store and helped us with ideas but let us make the final judgement call and was wonderful to work with. We updated bathrooms, kitchen and flooring and all turned out so well. But the main thing was the fireplace. We hated the old one and Kerry-Lyn had a vision and it turned out awesome! Cannot say enough about this company as we hired them again this past summer, July 2016 to add on a patio cover. It looks like it is part of the house and was built when the house was. They do amazing work! Totally recommend them.

My wife and I found a home with beautiful bones that needed a complete rehab to bring it up to current living standards. We had the very good fortune to be introduced to JKC as a reputable contractor. What we actually got was much more. With JKC, we felt like we were embraced by their professional but family like caring and concern for our dream. Jeff Knorr, Kerry-Lyn and Mike (our Project Manager) were not only with us every step of the way, but they displayed such genuine desire to make our project be better and more detailed than even we imagined. We were pleased with the previous remodel JKC performed on 2 bathrooms therefore, when time to remodel the kitchen we hired the company again. Top notch professionals who guided us in selection of quality products & kept us apprised of the project progress from the beginning handling every little details.
