Kate Smith is exceptional. We hired her to help create my first home office space and she took the idea of what I thought I wanted and made it a reality. She was easy to work with, accessible and reasonably priced. To say we are thrilled with the outcome of my office is an understatement. It is stunning! Kate is fantastic. She has great taste and vision while also being Very adaptable to your personal style and vision. We used her upon moving into a new home — had hardly any furniture or idea exactly what we wanted, and now our home is our oasis because of Kate— we love being in it and get compliments all the time. She is also incredibly organized and reliable. And not is she a great designer but she’s also just a gem of a person. You will be in great hands with Kate.

I cannot fully describe how much of a joy it was to work with Kate on our dining room. From the first phone conversation, Kate really tried to understand what I wanted to do with the space and immediately came up with some ideas. She was so prepared when she came for the first visit and I knew right away she would be perfect for the job. Throughout the entire process, Kate not only kept me updated with mood boards, budgets, contractor info, etc, but she always did it in an extremely prompt and thorough manner. She always got back to me right away, even if it was for the smallest question. She is so talented and creative in what she does, and my dining room now shows it - I am absolutely in love and have been getting countless compliments (one of them even being that it looks "magazine worthy!"). On top of it all, Kate is so lovely to be around and have in your home.

Kate has been an absolute pleasure to work with on our living/family room. Our 1920s home has unique features and Kate has been able to develop great design solutions to create a multifunctional space. She has provided us with an excellent road map to implement the design over time so that we can stay within our budget as well as helpful instructions for some DIY projects.

I am an art appreciator, but not an artist- she has helped us to transform our house into something that is ours, but far more beautiful than we could have done on our own.
