We feel so fortunate to have found Kristin to help us with a major kitchen remodeling project. Her ability to listen to what we wanted and to guide us through the process when we couldn't see the final vision, as she could, was invaluable to us. Building a new home can be overwhelming. Being a person who was new to the design and construction world, I was fortunate enough to be put in the wonderful hands of Kristin! She spent time getting to know my style(even when I wasn't sure!), and helped me to design and decorate my dream home. Kristin went above and beyond her duties; making sure every detail was perfect. We hired Kristin Hoaglund, of Kristin Hoaglund Design, to create designs for two bathroom renovations in our cottage style home built in 1958. Kristin listened to all of our design needs and exceeded our expectations by providing numerous floor plans and designs that met all of our design criteria and renovation requirements. Our home had renovations done to it previously that make the current bathroom designs outdated and quirky. Kristin gave us numerous options to consider that incorporate design elements to create the improved functionality of a more modern bathroom, while maintaining the integrity of the home's original design and feel. Kristin can adapt beautifully to changing requirements from her customers, and she worked professionally and competently with other contractors and sub-contractors throughout the design process. Once our family is ready to undergo both bathroom renovations (one at a time!) we will be hiring Kristin to help us complete the renovation process. Kristin Hoaglund Design has been a gracious, yet professional, addition to our project. Kristin is top notch! I would highly recommend her to anyone who needs help with a large or small design project. Kristin helped me build a new home about 5 years ago. She assisted me with the layout and design of the floor plan, cabinetry, lighting, fixtures, paint colors--nearly all the details! I certainly could not have completed such a large task without her. It made building a house a wonderful experience. One thing I really appreciated about Kristin was that although she had her ideas for my design, paint colors, fixtures, etc., she wanted to be sure that it fit MY style. She worked tirelessly to make sure I was pleased with the end result, and I was! She is a highly skilled and talented designer.

Kristin came in for a home consultation quickly after our first phone conversation. She not only listened to my hope and vision for my space, but also made note of my personality that already showed in my home. After a walk through, Kristin sat down with me and shared out options of big picture ideas and colors to start thinking of as my space was soon to be transformed. A visual work board was also put together by Kristin. This guided my understanding of her suggestions and visions of my space which fit me perfectly! And as the space evolved, Kristin stayed available to communicate and discuss on goings and new ideas with me. Fabulous!

Kris did a fantastic job guiding our upper level remodel project. She spent extra time researching furniture options and running to paint stores to find the best options for our windows. We ended up doing an interesting gel stain with Kris leading the way. It turned out great. Kris has an especially good eye for colors.

Kirstin has as an eye for beautiful design. She came along side me as I made selections for a bathroom and kitchen update. Kristin came into my home to get a sense of my style and what worked in my home. Her suggestions were perfect - helping to achieve exactly what I was looking for in each room. I get so many compliments on my bathroom wall paper and the beautiful tile backsplash in my kitchen. Kirstin is creative and has an eye to seeing the project in a way that is well designed and complete.

Kristin Hoaglund is FABULOUS!! She is very talented and gifted at knowing how to make a space in your home beautiful! She is easy to work with and really listens to what you want and your style. She has helped us many times (we keep asking her back), first helping us pick everything out as we built our home, to decorating specific areas in our house. She will go over and beyond searching for just the right piece of furniture or giving you an array of fabrics to choose. She has a knack for knowing the perfect paint color and is fantastic at picking out window treatments. Kristin made our experience a smooth easy process. I know without her I would have struggled and spent money for an end result I didn't like. Thanks to Kristin, we just love our space, it turned out better than we could have imagined. Everyone that walks into our house gives us compliments. I would hire Kristin again in a heartbeat, she has been a blessing to us!!

I am a real estate broker and met Kristin when she and her husband worked with me to sell their home. It was a dream listing as their home could have been featured in Architectural Digest (and indeed it was featured in a local magazine) and for each showing she'd have it ready for HGTV to visit. At the time I had purchased a small, and not too swank, cottage in a nearby city. To this day, I am not too sure why I bought it. Regardless, I decided the first step was to give the bathroom a make-over and Kristin agreed to help me. The budget I gave her was tough but she nailed it. Kristin is down to earth, genuinely friendly, has a wonderful sense of style and most importantly, she listens. She also is very in touch with everything a designer should be in touch with. Everyone I have recommended Kristin to has been very pleased. She is a winner.
