Their studio library is now one of the largest north of Designer’s Walk in Toronto. We decided that our living, dining and family room needed a refresh and we decided to reupholster the furniture in these three rooms. Some of the furniture was over 30 years old. From the first meeting, Marisa listened and provided great ideas and feedback as we discussed the look and feel I wanted for these three rooms. We recently worked with Marisa and Cindy from Lumar Interiors to decorate our brand new home. It goes without saying that it was an worth while investment and such a gratifying feeling to sit back and enjoy the house as it is today. We had 7 rooms decorated in total from top to bottom including the paint colour, accessories, carpets, drapery, lighting, etc My husband and I work full-time, have very active teenagers both in and out of school, and really did not have the time to create the finished product that we have always wanted. Marisa and Cindy did it all for us and took care of everything so that we did not have to worry - we would just come home and it was all done for us. I would highly recommend Lumar Interiors to those who are looking for high quality results but don't have the time to do it themselves. Marisa and Cindy were very inclusive of our thoughts and needs along the way and offered their thoughts when asked - we needed someone to keep us grounded in what would look great even though we could not visualize it. We asked Lumar Interiors to redecorate our living room. During their presentation, we were also showed computer models which helped us to see how the room will look like. Surprisingly, the model indeed reflected reality to come. The living room transformation was profound; Paint, trims, draperies, shades, sofa fabrics, all came nicely together. Couple small pieces were delivered, by not their fault, slightly damaged but they were promptly replaced. Overall, furniture and accessories were delivered on time and in good quality.

I had recently redone the entire first floor of my home but could not pull together my living/dinning room area. I called Lumar Interiors for help and could not be more pleased with the final results. Luisa was great right from start to finish. She came into my home looked around and immediately offered suggestions of what I needed to do to get this room to work with the rest of my renovation. She listened to all my concerns and requests and most importantly to my budget. Even though I was initially over budget with the choices made, Luisa did what she could to source out other fabric and carpet selections that would give the same effect, yet would help to bring the cost within budget. Luisa helped us refresh our living room and dining room. Our living room also had a space that was carved out for a home office, which presented some challenges. We loved how Luisa and her team changed and optimized the furniture flow of both rooms. Her communication was timely professional. She listened to our preferences and concerns and it showed in her recommendations. Luisa was very transparent up front about the cost of the project using her suppliers. We ordered 3 sofas and 3 accent chairs for both rooms through Luisa and we could not be happier with the quality, style and fabric choices that Luisa recommended. We recently purchased a new home in Markham and asked Marisa to help us with blinds and with furnishing the great room (kitchen table and entertaining area ) in our new house. We had asked Marissa to help us in the past at our old home in Richmond Hill and knew that she would do an excellent job for us. She did! The whole project took about 3 months and we gradually added pieces of furniture after selecting the blinds and drapes so that we were certain that they would all fit in together. Invariably, at each stage, Marisa would take us through the options, narrow this down with us to say 5 or 6 that might work best and then help us to make the final selection of fabrics, styling, colours, etc. We never felt any pressure to hurry or to select the more expensive items. The whole project costs were approximately $20,000 and we are absolutely delighted with the final results. We are also happy to recommend Marisa to our family and friends and have already done so over the last few months, resulting in more happy customers of Lumar Interiors. Michael and Janet, Markham

I had never used a designer before and I was. frankly, skeptical, but my mother (who is generally right) set us up with Luisa for an appointment and now I am sitting on a sofa in a new living room that makes me so happy. We ordered a complete house full of blinds first, and then completely redecorated our living room, family room, and dining room with Luisa and we are thrilled with the results. Luisa is easy to work with, reliable, and a good communicator. She read my husband and I well, even when we couldn't be articulate about our tastes, and her designs and suggestions were all lovely. She met with us on weekends to accommodate our work schedule, and rushed delivery to accommodate a family event. Delivery was timely, looked even better than we'd expected, and, as a bonus, Luisa made my kids feel like they were part of the process. Completely satisfied.

My husband and I have had the good fortune of working with Marissa Lupo at Lumar Interiors since 2008. Marisa Lupo from Lumar Interiors recently helped me update my 1990's kitchen and make it a beautiful room where at the end of a long busy day my family and I can come together to cook and enjoy a meal. I have known Marisa for many years now and together we have also redecorated my family room and dining room. Slowly we have successfully turned my house into a home. Marisa's patience and knowledge have made working with her a pleasure. I look forward to our next decorating project together!

I met Luisa 20 years ago and she has helped with the decor of a new house that was a boring builders beige. When I moved again, Luisa was called in to coordinate the window treatements, paint, wallpaper, family room furniture and most recently the basement. Luisa is very detailed and listens to what you would like, but is not afraid to offer suggestions. When given a project, Luisa goes away and comes back with multiple ideas for you to pick from. She will tell you if she doesn't like something. She recently completed the furniture selection and fabric covering for the basement. I had bought a rug from another source and Luisa coordinated fabric choices and furniture to match the room. The room was not finished at the time, she only saw pieces of it. She had to use her vision of its completion to offer up suggestions for styles and fabrics that would work with the space. The furniture arrived on time. In fact one piece was ordered last minute and she was able to make arrangements that it would be on the truck and delivered by my deadline. Luisa always returns to view the finished look. I would highly recommend Luisa.
