We had Neave install an in-ground pool, a hot tub and extensive landscaping. They did some amazing things with our project. The landscaping work is beautiful, and the design of the space was very well thought out. I just wish they finished the last 5% at the quality that they did the first 95%

We’re thrilled with Neave's recent renovation of our backyard and pool. I usually do not write reviews but I wanted to share with you my experience. If you you are considering to have a pool or landscape work done at you home The Neave outdoor Solutions Is wonderful to work with. The company is incredibly professional. This project was started on time and completed before it was supposed to. The men who worked at my home were very knowledgeable and respectful. The design team had the most incredible ideas. We are beyond thrilled that we listened to their advice And used Neave outdoor solutions. You will be too. It was a amazing experience from start to finish .

Dave Katz did his usual excellent job designing a garden for a difficult sloping bank. His scheme used a variety of perennial plants and shrubs with a range of colors and textures. The garden has grown into a display of blooms that lasts throughout the summer. Dave was able to work past the doubters who were afraid of erosion and failure of the garden bed. Neave group worked efficiently and capably to transform what was an ugly site to a beautiful display. Dave personally checked back in the project, giving maintenance advice and suggestions. I come to this, sad after 10 months of trusting Neave to fix the issues to say that it wasn't the case. While they did address some of the issues in my first review, it wasn't without fighting, threats and even worse : solutions put in place that created more problems. What happened took almost 3 years, and my pool was bonded only 2 weeks ago. For that I had to call every other week, asking when it was going to be done. Not the kind of communication you expect. Here's my experience, which is surprising given Neave's reputation and cost structure: 1. Project hired in 2021. Digging started may 2022 ( pictures as timeline proof ) - >3 years to build a pool. a. The design process didn't think about retaining walls ( had to build one later ) b. Designer didn't talk about how the Finnish on the borders was going to be a scratch (really scratchy ) prone concrete finish that no kid could ever play close to the border without getting scratched. c. There's no follow up when I tried getting a landscape project for 6 months with them, gave up hired another company. d. Went sometimes months without any status email or anything. Once I had to email the leadership at leave to get an answer. Construction: ( and I was lucky to get another pool professional to look at and give me "list of questions" otherwise I would never have found the issues) : 1 - they cut my power line while digging - costed my 10k to get it back on. Never took responsability. 2. Issues with the concrete pouring: the patio made by Neave has massive cracks - which after my complain I heard "it's normal to have hairline cracks" - until the last in person talk where I asked "is this normal?" to which I heard a strong reaction while he looked at the crack. Why that? Because the way leave built the coping, to fix that they would have to empty the pool and repair massive blocks. not an easy task, and they got quiet and of course disappeared. 3. Deck: I picked a nice, and more expensive Ipe wood deck. It has a nice looking on the pictures. Not ours. Neave again does this all the time: They will build it, but don't include the coats needed to make it look "normal" so I got a greyed out Ipe deck. "ahh you want it looking like Ipe? you have to pay for power wash and staining" - ask for details. they don't share those. the deck is all warped and crooked ( photo ) 4. Auto cover drain: they didn't do a proper drain so before we started using auto cover motor was underwater. After months of fights on the phone, they made a commitment to "insure" it for 1 year. They did dig a drain later. 5. pool was Leaking but they never told me. Renov contractor warned me. finally , as I am running out of space: they messed up our septic tank. After all discussions, Neave committed to replace the tank, putting a new one for us. The surprise? My 1500gl was replace by a 500gl. on a 4 bed house Final work done? July 24. I hired because of the reputation, but didn't work for me unfortunately

Neave did a great job doing a rehab job on our back unilock style walkway and solving a drainage problem. The walkway is about 15 years old and needed to be raised and reset... it was turning into a river during heavy downpours and pouring off into a sloping retainer wall causing erosion and other damage. The team recommended we also reroute our gutter runoff further away from the house so they installed drain lines from the gutters to the far side of our yard. The team made the walkway look almost like new reusing the old pavers... everything is nicely aligned and tight, releveled and kanted to run rain off to the sides. The new drainage system for the gutters was done very neatly... hardly any damage to the lawn due to the install. The site was all cleaned up, no mess left behind, and where the lawn was damaged, new seed and hay was there. I am really glad we got this work done what with all these heavy rains and I am glad Neave did the work!

Neave Group did a wonderful job on our pool patio, replacing decades-old brick pavers that were crumbling and uneven with high quality stamped concrete. The new patio is beautiful and we're already enjoying our new outdoor space. I was particularly happy that they were able to solve a difficult problem with the way my existing liner receiver was attached that other contractors had hand-waved away without a good plan to address. They even completed the project months before it was originally estimated to begin!
